These are some of my personal favourite prehab exercises to help prevent common running/walking injuries. All your going to need for this workout is your mat and some water.
I recommend working on your hips/core at least 3 times every week to see an improvement in your running strength.

    I do this workout about twice a week. This has saved me and my chronic pain in my knee. I have had surgery on my knee. Since then was not able to walk very far and daily pain to the point I could not sleep from it or relax nor learn something new. Had 4psyiotherapist, done electroschok therapy on my knee. Accupuncture you name it. Nothing helped. But your workout has done so much for me you won't believe it. I wish there were more low impact but effective workout for someone like me. Who can't shift positions and stand up and on the floor so often. I started doint this because it was mostly on the floor. Thank you so much! I wish I could show this and your other workout to the other people in my recovery group. I was in pain for 5years! With a knee that keeps locking. It has also helped with that. I don't know if you will see this. Just wanted to let you know. ♥️

    Roxanne - thanks for sharing these exercises for runners and hikers, was waiting for this one! I DNF'ed my 1st 100-mile ultra because of a lower back and hip injury at mile 71, and spent 2 months strengthening, and while I completed my 2nd 100-miler, it wasn't pretty. Your exercises will help me get to the finish in 2021 in great shape! Thanks!
