Tips for healthy productivity 1. Find your why(dig deep). (why do i want to be productive : journal on this questio.) 2. define what productivity os for u and track it. 3. Focus down as much as u can. (breakdown task into baby bite size task) 4. Reduce the time btw knowing and doing. 5. Batching (similar tasks at same tym) 6. Time yourself(how long do you take to do any task) 7. Use the 80/20 rule (or parito's principle):(80% of the consequences comes from the 20% of the causes)so the learning is to check part of ur work yield the 80% /the major impact . 8. Set mini deadlines. 9. Be your own cheer leader. 10. Schedule in time for planning and rest.
Yes I love that you called it “healthy” productivity. Because as we all know, in our western world it’s easy to fall into the trap of “hustle culture” and sacrifice our health and happiness for small gains.

1. Find your why 2. Define what productivity is for you and then track it 3.focus down as much as you can (break it down in smaller parts and focus on the smallest simplest step first) 4. Reduce time between knowing you have to do something and actually doing it. Take a baby step right away. The longer you procrastinate the bigger the mental while, so do it while it's small. 5. Batching - do the same kind of tasks all together at once to avoid context switching. 6. Time yourself - see how long it takes you to actually do things so you can plan better in the future and avoid unserbudgetting time and causing stress and trade offs. 7. Use the 80/20 rule. Figure out what your 20% of your efforts are high results and see how you can emphasize those things and minimize (or outsource) things that are not impactful. 8. Set mini deadlines - big deadline will feel abstract because it's far away. As much time as you give yourself for a project is how long it will take. 9. Be your own cheerleader 10. Schedule time for planning and rest If like me, at the end you went, "hmm yeah, which one of these did I like best?" But you didn't remember... here's the refresher. Now that I've written it all out.... I liked: Focus down, Reduce time between knowing and doing, batching, and especially setting mini deadlines. Also scheduling time to plan. I do most of this now but can improve! Another one I just heard on a other channel is track the things you want to prove in because what you track will likely improve and what you don't will likely get worse!
Why I want to be productive: Because I want to balance all the works that I am doing and do more work for my dream life with full of happiness. And, to be a successful person in this world. So, I think Aileen makes me to think about it and now I am ready to be more productive with your helpful tips. Thank you so much Aileen..

@@minfires7572 I'd say start slow and small. Author Osho once said that there are no big things; small things accumulated make big things. Don't jump in with bug goals ; instead set smaller goals that will cumulatively make a difference. That way it would also be easier to adjust to the change than if u make big changes at once bc that will be unfamiliar and uncomfortable and you'd just want to go back to your comfort zone
there are a lot of toxic productivity tips out there so Im glad youre promoting a healthy lifestyle!!!

I plan my planning! I give art workshops to children and youngsters and at monday morning I always take time to plan out the workshops I'm going to give for the full week. After that I immediately go to the store to fetch the items I need. That makes life so much easier as the rest of the week always goes way more smoothly.
Reducing time between knowing and doing was really a lightbulb moment for me. I need to keep that in mind more often. Thanks for your most wonderful tip!
reducing time between knowing and doing is definitely the one I need to work on the most!! I procrastinate the tasks that generate anxiety so much and it turns out to grow so much harder to actually do it the more time passes..
Her video really helped me to have a good relationship with myself.
I always watch Lavendaire videos when I'm feeling low or when I need motivation ... Your videos makes my day bright ! Thank you Aileen for everything ! Love you 💜
Hello! THIS WAS FANTASTIC! Aileen. I loved the way you laid the 10 tips out. So, clear and user-friendly. I plan on sharing this vlog for sure with a few girl friends. Although I am a retired person, who is redefining my journey, these 10 tips are just what I needed to see and hear. I am a planner by nature but often, as you said, I over planned, didn't break things down into smaller, easier tasks, expected things to happen 'now' and be perfect, etc. I am 65 and I can tell you that doesn't work. So, I am glad to see younger generations figuring this out now before you get where I am and trying to learn how to simplify, declutter and enjoy my journey without regret, etc. I usually plan on Sundays - a left over from my working days. My favorite of the 10 tips is...well, I have two: 1). reduce the time between knowing and doing. So important. I have UFP's (unfinished projects) still hanging over my head because I had deadlines with big tasks and the time to get started kept getting pushed away. So, tip #4 is very important key to success. And, 2). # 9 - Be your own cheerleader. The negative self talk is so ingrained. I am learning slow but sure to reframe my thinking when I feel that negative talk coming on. Anyway, I have said enough. Thank you Aileen. You are amazing and I am so grateful that you are helping so many of us. Cheers.
Finally! An angel who talks about HEALTHY productivity. We need MORE of this and LESS unrealistic studygrammers who supposedly study 15 hours a day and have a "perfect" life on social media. A great call for mental health. I love this channel!
I started practicing "just doing" things the moment I get the idea or urge. It was difficult at first but a few months in it has become a second nature. And it actually goes hand in hand with my ADHD haha I don't always finish that moment or day but small steps help me make progress and lessens my anxiety.
Hey Aileen! I usually take some time on Sunday to answer a few emails, do my todo list for the week, and calendar block my week. I love this system, although I tend to overestimate how much I can do and be a bit overwhelmed as a result.
How did this video shift your perspective on productivity? Reminder that what's most "productive" is living a high quality, fulfilling life. And that's not always about getting the *most* things done, but the getting the *right* things done. :)

Ok
I like your point about taking time to plan. It's also important to leave "white space" on the calendar- time to handle unexpected things that crop up. Great video.
Great tips on productivity hacks - focus, narrow, break it down - I love a to-do list and when it feels like I can accomplish it - it gets done! The easiest smallest next step is the same principle that I use when I need to have a hard conversation with someone - I can't just think I will have the conversation, I need to consider what my intention is, what my goal is, what I want to see happen, and then consider how I will achieve it - so many layers, but layers built upon each other make a solid foundation!
My planning day is Saturday! The day i feel most motivated, so it's easy to plan for my week and have a clear mind while doing so. I first realized this after seeing something online about the different week days and how our cycle works, Saturday is ruled by Saturn, so it's best to plan and prepare on this day!
The most benificial productivity video i’ve ever watched , enjoyed watching so much . I Think it really summarizes all the most important tips 🌺❤️

These tips are so helpful! Especially batching. As a Mindset Coach, I’ve been finding myself doing a lot of different tasks all in one day even though I schedule it out but still you’re so right! The time spent changing from one task to another completely different one often time feels like a “break” to me so I spend time scrolling on social media or something along those lines
Your videos are all so positive and calming, I love them😍😍 Thank you!
i want to express to you how helpful this video was. i have been struggling in college to maintain a balance between school and the rest of my life due to my adhd. i really appreciate how you approached this subject and explained it in a way that made sense and related to one's mindset (which ironically is something i am working on). i actually took notes on this video, and i'm going to print them out and tape them to my wall above my desk
You literally give off such positive, aesthetic vibes!!
Aileen, you are a blessing! This is the best help I have had in a long time. Thank you, I appreciate you ❤️
Gosh! HOW DO YOU ALWAYS APPEAR AT THE PERFECT TIME!!?? I really needed it! Thank you so much Aileen!
Planning is so important and time-boxing to get that part done (without distractions) is critical for me. Great tips
Please continue on defining productivity this way !! This may safe many students mental healths ❤️❤️ i just love this
Thanks U so much Aileen! Your videos are amazing as always
I watched this video while taking notes. tysm for sharing your experiences with us very generously. Ever since I subscribed to you my life has seriously improved a lot and I'm thankful for that. I can also see how happier and calmer you are I'm really happy that you are doing well again after your burnout.
The tips in this video were so unique! I love your mindset on how productivity is not just work, its rest and play too. One thing I use to be productive as someone with ADHD is making things I don't really want to do enjoyable. ADHD brains can't say "no" to dopamine so I make sure I get myself a nice drink, listen to ASMR while working, and think positive thoughts to myself during and after tasks. I recommend creating a work environment that you look forward to!
This video came in the perfect moment and resonates so much with what I am going through right now... Thank you so much for the way you talk about "healthy" productivity. Love from Chile!
"Timing yourself" and "mini-deadlines" are my favorites. These are things that i overlooked so much because it's hard for me to do 💛
I love this! I bought into hustle culture and pushed through college burnt out. When I graduated in May 2020, I spent about a year just working, reading and reflecting. Eventually, I did grow bored of being idle and began slowly integrating more goals back into my life but with more intention. I feel more productive- which I define as doing actions that contribute to my life goals-- after experiencing what it's like to have less to do.
Never has something given me so much joy in the sense of motivation as your videos currently do. I was so shocked how quickly my mood changed!
Thank you Lavendaire for making this video, most of the tips felt really helpful. So happy, you are making so many lives better.
"He who has a why to live can bear almost any how" Thanks for the reminder.
I loved the mini-deadline tip best. It's true, the time will just get filled up. Thanks for the inspiration, it really helped me feel better!
Thank you soooo much! It came at such a right time. I had been exhausted with my productivity actually. I just do do do and do. I didn't dare to stop because I was afraid that that fire of passion would die down on me, or my family and friends would blame me for not working hard enough. Love you so much. Be healthy, be loved and be safe
This video was so therapeutic. Thank you for this healthy approach to productivity 🥰it's always such a visual treat to see your videos as well Would love to see a tour of your desk and how you organize it!
Yay this was so helpful! I do a weekly reset with planning each Sunday where I have a routine I follow with journaling and grabbing my AOL workbook :) Ny fave tip would def be the one about reducing time between doing and knowing. Going to get some things done right now!
Ive been sitting from ever waiting for your september planning and another amaizing video just pops up.. lately i was feeling down and trying to get my life together and i know its ok to be unproductive some days but the amount of works that waiting for me make me feel worse.. anyway love u sooo much and i wish to be a perfect lavindair girl some day❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you for this! At the perfect timing when we're planning for the next month, too! Tips 1, 2, & 10 were what I needed the most (tho 10 wasn't new). Tip 2 was refreshing: for me, it's a combination of *a)* actual physical progression and *b)* inner peace (knowing I'm in alignment with my life purpose, doing what is meant for me).. My answer to 1: because I want to help bring justice to this world - and in order to accomplish things to better our world or even oneself, we need to physically get things done (get certifications, go to court, etc)! For my people, my community, my country, humanity, living beings & our earth that houses us..
Amazing tips! Love the one about small steps, reducing the time between knowing and doing and mini deadlines.

Hello, I also had a burn out a few months ago and I am still trying to get back on my feet. The hardest part however is to work on myself. I loved to be incredibly busy and filling up all my free time with stuff I could get done. It made me feel superior, successful, good, productive. So unhealthy. Hi Lavendaire, the one thing that I would apply right after this video is number 10. Planning for next week, without the intention to be perfect. I'm glad I found your video on this beautiful Sunday morning. Love ya.
I have been procrastinating all my life, i feel very sad and disappointed with my myself for all the time a have wasted. What all i could have done with all that time. Indeed the time which is gone will never come back. I want to productive because i want to be a better version of myself, be happy, healthy, and be positive minded, also that will help me build better relationships and friends. If i do, it will be life changing!
Sunday Reset day is my planning day…gets me ready for a new week! Thank you for this video!!!!!
OMG I love the last part! I have always wondered why I don't start something, even though I have listed out what to do and how to do it. Now I realize that I used the time I saved for doing for planning instead. And after I do the planning part, I need to find extra time to do the doing part!
very nice overview, exactly what I was looking for :)
number 10 really hits home. Great suggestions, thank you.
The way you talk about productivity and getting things done is very inspiring. Every single time I watch your video, I get a feeling like: Okey, let's do something productive! These are amazing tips! I truely love them all because they give the best guidance, starting from rooting yourself with your emotions and being strategic with your ways of time. I have only just found your channel and am really impressed with your content. Totally agree that you need to make time for planning and liked your tip about working for 25 minute increments. I tend to not take enough breaks from studying and end up feeling drained so will give this a go.
This will help much more in my school year, I typically let school consume my life for 9 months out of the year and even during the summer I study in advance. Thank you for helping me understand a balance between work play and rest. 💓
