Tips for healthy productivity 1. Find your why(dig deep). (why do i want to be productive : journal on this questio.) 2. define what productivity os for u and track it. 3. Focus down as much as u can. (breakdown task into baby bite size task) 4. Reduce the time btw knowing and doing. 5. Batching (similar tasks at same tym) 6. Time yourself(how long do you take to do any task) 7. Use the 80/20 rule (or parito's principle):(80% of the consequences comes from the 20% of the causes)so the learning is to check part of ur work yield the 80% /the major impact . 8. Set mini deadlines. 9. Be your own cheer leader. 10. Schedule in time for planning and rest.

    1. Find your why 2. Define what productivity is for you and then track it 3.focus down as much as you can (break it down in smaller parts and focus on the smallest simplest step first) 4. Reduce time between knowing you have to do something and actually doing it. Take a baby step right away. The longer you procrastinate the bigger the mental while, so do it while it's small. 5. Batching - do the same kind of tasks all together at once to avoid context switching. 6. Time yourself - see how long it takes you to actually do things so you can plan better in the future and avoid unserbudgetting time and causing stress and trade offs. 7. Use the 80/20 rule. Figure out what your 20% of your efforts are high results and see how you can emphasize those things and minimize (or outsource) things that are not impactful. 8. Set mini deadlines - big deadline will feel abstract because it's far away. As much time as you give yourself for a project is how long it will take. 9. Be your own cheerleader 10. Schedule time for planning and rest If like me, at the end you went, "hmm yeah, which one of these did I like best?" But you didn't remember... here's the refresher. Now that I've written it all out.... I liked: Focus down, Reduce time between knowing and doing, batching, and especially setting mini deadlines. Also scheduling time to plan. I do most of this now but can improve! Another one I just heard on a other channel is track the things you want to prove in because what you track will likely improve and what you don't will likely get worse!

Don't jump in with bug goals ; instead set smaller goals that will cumulatively make a difference. That way it would also be easier to adjust to the change than if u make big changes at once bc that will be unfamiliar and uncomfortable and you'd just want to go back to your comfort zone

Hello! THIS WAS FANTASTIC! Aileen. I loved the way you laid the 10 tips out. So, clear and user-friendly. I plan on sharing this vlog for sure with a few girl friends. Although I am a retired person, who is redefining my journey, these 10 tips are just what I needed to see and hear. I am a planner by nature but often, as you said, I over planned, didn't break things down into smaller, easier tasks, expected things to happen 'now' and be perfect, etc. I am 65 and I can tell you that doesn't work. So, I am glad to see younger generations figuring this out now before you get where I am and trying to learn how to simplify, declutter and enjoy my journey without regret, etc. I usually plan on Sundays - a left over from my working days. My favorite of the 10 tips is...well, I have two: 1). reduce the time between knowing and doing. So important. I have UFP's (unfinished projects) still hanging over my head because I had deadlines with big tasks and the time to get started kept getting pushed away. So, tip #4 is very important key to success. And, 2). # 9 - Be your own cheerleader. The negative self talk is so ingrained. I am learning slow but sure to reframe my thinking when I feel that negative talk coming on. Anyway, I have said enough. Thank you Aileen. You are amazing and I am so grateful that you are helping so many of us. Cheers.

I started practicing "just doing" things the moment I get the idea or urge. It was difficult at first but a few months in it has become a second nature. And it actually goes hand in hand with my ADHD haha I don't always finish that moment or day but small steps help me make progress and lessens my anxiety.

Great tips on productivity hacks - focus, narrow, break it down - I love a to-do list and when it feels like I can accomplish it - it gets done! The easiest smallest next step is the same principle that I use when I need to have a hard conversation with someone - I can't just think I will have the conversation, I need to consider what my intention is, what my goal is, what I want to see happen, and then consider how I will achieve it - so many layers, but layers built upon each other make a solid foundation!

The tips in this video were so unique! I love your mindset on how productivity is not just work, its rest and play too. One thing I use to be productive as someone with ADHD is making things I don't really want to do enjoyable. ADHD brains can't say "no" to dopamine so I make sure I get myself a nice drink, listen to ASMR while working, and think positive thoughts to myself during and after tasks. I recommend creating a work environment that you look forward to!

Thank you for this! At the perfect timing when we're planning for the next month, too! Tips 1, 2, & 10 were what I needed the most (tho 10 wasn't new). Tip 2 was refreshing: for me, it's a combination of *a)* actual physical progression and *b)* inner peace (knowing I'm in alignment with my life purpose, doing what is meant for me).. My answer to 1: because I want to help bring justice to this world - and in order to accomplish things to better our world or even oneself, we need to physically get things done (get certifications, go to court, etc)! For my people, my community, my country, humanity, living beings & our earth that houses us..

Hello, I also had a burn out a few months ago and I am still trying to get back on my feet. The hardest part however is to work on myself. I loved to be incredibly busy and filling up all my free time with stuff I could get done. It made me feel superior, successful, good, productive. So unhealthy. I still need to figure out where this is coming from but I am on a good way to a healthy mindset. Thank you so much for this video and for the calming background music. It really helps to slow down everything. Thumbs up from me and greetings from Austria

I keep a separate notepad to list the things i need to get done with a specific week, like some errands or tasks, and date the timespan in which it is required to be fulfilled. You tips are pretty amazing. This is the first video i have seen of yours and i loved it! Hope to learn more from your tips. And i love the last tip to "schedule time for planning and rest" which i had suddenly stopped doing when i switched to homeschooling in junior & senior year of HS, so thanks foe reminding me about it. Lots of love 😊🖤🥀⛓

I have been procrastinating all my life, i feel very sad and disappointed with my myself for all the time a have wasted. What all i could have done with all that time. Indeed the time which is gone will never come back. I want to productive because i want to be a better version of myself, be happy, healthy, and be positive minded, also that will help me build better relationships and friends. If i do, it will be life changing!

OMG I love the last part! I have always wondered why I don't start something, even though I have listed out what to do and how to do it. Now I realize that I used the time I saved for doing for planning instead. And after I do the planning part, I need to find extra time to do the doing part!

These are amazing tips! I truely love them all because they give the best guidance, starting from rooting yourself with your emotions and being strategic with your ways of time. Thank you so much for sharing these, it's put together so beautifully. If you just made a list without explaining, it wouldn't have made such a strong impact on each statement.

Hello! I rarely comment on videos, but I have to say, this was a great “productive” list that not only gets the job done but is very “healthy” 😉. As a psychotherapist, I try to help guide some of my clients towards this path. Watching this was not only an inspiration for me to pass on to my clients, but also for implementing in my own day to day! Great video!
