    Can you give the alternative if don’t have or use microwave, how can we heat up the glutinous mix. Everything is done in microwave these days, not everybody use it. That means I can’t make the mochis? Can I use a sauce pan in a stove, and warm it up there instead?

    You can steam it in any pan with a lid too. Make sure to use a clipping wrap to cover it.

    You can steam it instead. Wet a clean cotton dish towel, place it in the steamer. Then pour the mochi dough in there, cover and steam. Be ready to dump it onto a surface dusted with cornstarch or potato starch and be careful, it will be hot!

    it tastes better with pan fry glutinous rice flour. If u decide to pan fry, use glutinous rice flour instead of the cornstarch. Hope this helps. thanks for watching 🧡
