I like doing reactive deloads based on performance: If performance on the first set of the exercise goes down by one rep, you probably have some fatigue. Do this: - do speed work: half of the load with half of the reps. Perform the reps explosively. If performance on the first set goes down more than 1 rep, you have severe fatigue. Take these steps: - skip all remaining sets and exercises for that muscle group - Next workout: do a little bit less weight and try to hit upper rep range on all dets, then progress from there.

Hi man! I have a question. Why, even if I do a ton of mobility, when I use for too much time heeled shoes, I feel like my form becomes worse over time and gives me problems on depth? I am kinda tall and have long legs, but short torso, my squat tends to be a goodmorning.

Good lost Matt.. unfortunately I don't have access to these machines but I'll try to at least mimic and properly warm up the posterior chain on squat days.

As a wider bench presser i do a superset for the shoulder one arm pull exersize for the back and the last warmup variation would be a face pull i would always use this warmup but every three weeks i would change the angle like face pull from a low position face pull from a midd position and face pull from a high position i would change the angle ince every three weeks I would also train my bench with a different grip every week week one pinkies on the ring week two ringvinger on the ring and weeks three middelvinger on the ring on my heaviest day i use a wider grip but because i dont use this grip every week i dont have any issues with my shoulder if you wanna be strong you must also train smart

I’ve followed you for years. Please don’t put out false info just for clicks. There’s no way anyone believe that sled work while incorporating a row movement is what’s truly best for back work. Do sled work for what sled work is best for and do row work for what row work is best for. Or give full context so as not to mislead people and lead to junk volume. Kind regards :)

  • @ChrisFluhnoy

He never suggested it was the best. These sled rows are a cool way to add variety and get some work outside in the sun. There’s no harm in sharing novel (yet safe) ways to work muscle groups, especially a group like the upper/mid back which can take a beating.

Thanks for the vid. Im 160 pounds, 5 year lifter, just hit new PR for 280 bench press. My elbow was not as happy about this as my chest was. Ironically, I believe this likely occurred due to insufficient warm up and ice bathing immediately prior to the big lift. This is the second injury I've gotten from doing this wrong. First one was my neck. Important tip: if you ice bath, make sure you bring your core temp back up then do a thorough warm up prior to lifting heavy.
