Simple Gardening

Simple Gardening

In this channel, I will be growing different types of plants like fruit trees, Vegetables in pots. I will be giving many tips, procedures and precautions to be followed for growing healthy food.
My mantra is Organic Gardening. The food we buy is filled with lots of pesticides and chemical residues which on a long term shows negative impact on health.
Nothing is too Late, let's grow food at home in an organic way and let's keep ourselves and our families healthy.
Gardening doesnt require a big place to grow. I grow all my plants in containers as I do not have land to grow. However I grow my plants perfectly without any variation in yields when compared to that of plants grown in earth/soil.

The future is being self sustainable.
Happy gardening.

    Is burnt rice husk and CRH same in respect of nutritional benefits?

  • @SimpleGardening
    @SimpleGardening3 ай бұрын

    Yes, both are same in a broader way. Technically burnt rice husks produce ash whereas, CRH keeps the whole rice husk in tact without turning it into ash.

    I like your simple approach! How could we prepare risk husks for use in hydroponics? Currently there is high temperatures and toxic chemicals used to extra the silica. There must be a water-based way at more accessible temperatures!

  • @SimpleGardening
    @SimpleGardening6 ай бұрын

    Firstly, rice husk is sterile and it will not hold any chemicals. However, if there is a chance of holding any sort of chemicals the carbonization process will deplete the levels of chemicals on the husk and make it more sterile and free of chemicals. To be on the extra safe side, soaking the carbonized husk in water for 2 days will help in dissolving any present chemicals or CPA's on it and will become viable to use. Hope your query is solved atleast a bit. Happy Gardening 😊

    I'm sure it's a good fertiliser but your final ratio numbers are wrong my friend, you cannot add the percentages together like that. For instance if mixing 2 compounds at equal amounts #1 is 1% Nitrogen and #2 is 1% Nitrogen, the mixture is not now 2%, it is still 1%.

  • @trevorsmales9303
    @trevorsmales93039 ай бұрын

    Going back over the numbers, your final ratios/percentages are 2.4:1.9:1.8.

    Hello Sir, Is it suitable for cymbedium orchids?

  • @SimpleGardening
    @SimpleGardening10 ай бұрын

    It's better to give liquid fertilizers to orchids because the substrate we use to grow orchids is not soil...mostly coconut husk is used so powder or granular form organic fertilizers need microbes to get available...which is not possible in case of orchids. So use a liquid organic fertilizer like fish fertilizer or seaweed fertilizer. Happy Gardening 😊

    Don't use rice husk directly , first sieve/filter it with the help of sand sieve or wheat sieve and then use it because it contains small pieces of rice which attracts unwanted insects like sursi(flour beetle) etc .

    Sir, I put my querry incorrectly. Regret. What I need to ask is: Is the carbon in CRH more readily available as carbon in the soil when compared to biochar?

  • @SimpleGardening
    @SimpleGardening Жыл бұрын

    Yes its readily available as it is manually induced carbon when in comparison with naturally formed carbon.

  • @RuchiOrganics
    @RuchiOrganics Жыл бұрын

    Do the plants uptake the carbon easily as is required from CRH?

  • @SimpleGardening
    @SimpleGardening Жыл бұрын

    Plants absorb carbon dioxide from the air through tiny pores called stomata on the leaf. Soil carbon helps the microbes to breakdown the food. Thanks for asking.

  • @SimpleGardening
