Great "Traps" to control Insects/pests in your lovely Garden

For an Organic gardener, growing food without using pesticides is the main agenda. But with lots of pest pressure Organic gardeners are forced to use crop protection agent sprays either Organic or even chemical spray.
Good news Gardeners....there is an alternative to control pests in your garden without depending on spraying. It is by using Traps in your gardens.
Yes friends you read it rightly...Traps the best friends for a gardener or a farmer. There are many types of Traps available in market like Yellow sticky traps, Blue sticky traps, Pheromone traps for different types of pests, light traps etc. Depending upon the requirements of your garden and your pest pressure you can use the traps.
In this video I had demonstrated about two types of traps one is for sucking pests like aphids, whiteflies etc and tge second one is for Caterpillar ie., tobacco caterpillars.
Kindly watch the whole video and do comment.
Hope this video finds a way to help you in your gardening.
Regards
Happy Gardening 😊

Every Insects or pests has its own identification and traits. Majority of pests are identified by their eating habits. For example all the caterpillars fall under biting and chewing type which means they bite the leaf and chew it. In caterpillars too we can identify those by the mode of damage they cause or by the colour of the pest or even by the excreta they release. Let's say, spodoptera Caterpillar...they eat away the leaf in without any pattern and they skelitize the leaf leaving with only midrib and viens. Whereas Helicoverpa so called pod borer bores round holes pattern onto the leaf. Dear RJ however I would give a thought about your best advise and will try to simplify and make a video with all the factors considering. Thanks for watching the video.

Sir,I was waiting for your video. Sir,I have some queires. 1). Do aphids and mites fly? If they don't fly, than how they will attract and stick on yellow sticky traps. 2). At what height we should tie these yellow sticky traps? Do they supposed to tie on 1feet height as pheromone traps.

Thanks for appreciating my videos. 1. Aphids can fly but mites doesn't have wings to fly however they are dispersed thru a slight wind from plant to plant as they are very light bodied Insects. They gets attracted to the color . 2. As I said for pheromone traps the yellow sticky traps can also be tied at 1 feet high from thebpalnt canopy and any traps as a matter of fact excepting light traps need to be tied near to plant canopy and it has to be move up as the paint grows. Thanks for asking.
