The line across the girls face reminds me of the GIJoe figure night creep leader. Didn’t like that. It would be cool if you made shades instead of a line. Shades on the sniper from India would look super cool or war paint on her face. Think about it. You can still change that to look super awesome
I loved the original shark design that’s why I had ordered two. Hope your leg gets better. Can’t wait for these figures to come out. I was all in. And then bought extras lol but hope they get made before the next Chinese new year. It would be a fantastic Christmas if they get made in time this year
I think you need to do a Russian army building figure in your next wave. So you can match all of the other lines. That would be super fantastic
I hope operation recall figures get made before the next Chinese new year other wise we will have to wait longer. Also you should do another kickstarter now in the summertime as well as call sign longbow so you can get the ball rolling on the next wave since it seems to take longer. But if you get the ball rolling now on the second wave then it will come out even faster then the first wave. Can’t wait to get those figures.
Second intro was the one I most vividly remembered. Specifically the AFVs that fired discs(?). It was so ingrained that at age 10, I was utterly confused when a local channel started airing the 80s eps with the more realistic vehicles and Real American Hero song. The latter has vastly grown on me, though. GI JOE IS THERE!

That’s fair! Apologies, I didn’t mean to disparage anyone that is really just being a good steward of their budget. My intent was to poke fun at those that “wait for Ollie’s” and then go on the groups looking for “fair deals” when something they want is long since sold out. I think that Ninja robot weapons are compatible with the 1986 B.A.T. toy if I remember correctly. I'll be just cherry picking this line as I like a few of the figures but definitely not all of them. Out of all of the O-Ring Renaissance figure lines, I'm definitely waiting for Operation: Recall to scratch that nostalgic G.I. Joe O-Ring itch.

I think I had grown out of GI Joe when they became international heros....
I got these figures when they first hit and man are they awesome. The figure designs blend right in with the ARAH style. The accessories are fantastic and all have a place to be held or stored. And they nailed it wit the package art. I have nothing but good things to say about this line.

Great concept Good looking figure 24.99 Price point directly competing with G.I Joe classified series... That's gonna be a hard sell Especially for those of us that are deep into our classified collection. I wish them luck. I hope this succeeds, maybe in the future I'll check back into them.
I hear ya. I think this, Operation: Recall and the rest will really appeal to those collectors that miss the vintage look/feel. Or the “money is no issue” collectors that just collect multiple scales. I’m blown away by how many concurrent G.I.JOE: A Real American Hero lines there are! S7 ReAction, S7 Ultimates, Hiya 4”, ThreeZero 12”, Mezco 6”… and those are all just licensed figure lines. Crazy time to be a Joe collector!
@@3djoes I think you're 100% right, there are a few really nice lines out there that are not GI Joe I'd love to get into. Just financially advisable for me atm....That's probably the worst part about being an adult.... I still want my toys. I didn't say to my previous comment appreciate your review, wouldn't have a clue about these without it
Such a good line. I get the price is an issue but given the construction and them being a small company I can’t see how they could be cheaper. And, to be honest, I’ve had more fun playing with them than a lot of my more expensive figures 😁 This O-ring resurgence is proving impressive so far!
@@bighatdinokh 100% it’s all about economies of scale. When you are running ~5,000 of each item, it’s going to cost a LOT more per item than big companies running 5X - 20X as many of each item. That cost has to be shouldered by the producer and the consumer. It’s not easy being a small business!
If you look around, you will see all figures in this scale being made by indie creators are about $25. I know that has the appearance of competing with Classified, but it really doesn't. It's an entirely different scale and style. For those that love o-ring, they will pay it. For that matter, the knock off guys like Black Major aren't much better. They aren't doing any new designs, just making copies of existing figures. They put little effort in to the colors and designs, the quality is lacking, and still sell for an average of $20 each.

1:37:22 Hey man, not every kid’s parents could buy them GI Joe toys for Christmas. When I was growing up in the late 80s we were lucky if anyone in my family could get one present for Christmas. I used to make my own toys out of colored craft papers and glue because my parents couldn’t buy us toys. In the early 90s, all my parents could get me and my brothers were cheap Lanard figures sold at discount stores. We loved our Lanard figures just as much as you loved your fancy expensive GI Joes. I had toys, I was grateful and that was enough for me as a kid. Lanard offered cheap toys so kids in my situation could play with toys. When you throw shades at Lanard, you throw shades at my childhood and kids like me as if you were better than us. You’re not better than me.

This isn’t about the wealth divide or elitism, as you’d like to make it out to be. It’s about one company suing another and winning, and the losing company turning the tables years later. That’s a good story! Point of fact, Lanard launched their line as “Gung-Ho” in 1987 and was sued by Hasbro in 1988, hence the name change to The Corps. Lanard copied a lot more than just the Gung-Ho name though - they copied the formula Hasbro set up for figure articulation, packaging, cross-sell catalogs and more. And of course they made some “knock off” figures too. All facts. Sorry if these facts hurt your feelings. I have tears of joy remembering my childhood in the 80s when I had fun with my G.I. Joe. I wish they would bring out a retro line to buy them, but not so expensive since so many came out at the time.
All my G.I. Joe toys were stolen in a move in 2002 and I would like to at least have posters of what was once my childhood fun that I wanted to keep for my son, but unfortunately the box was stolen.

Why not have both strait arm and swivel?
I just don’t have unlimited $$$ for collectibles, and cutting the straight arms in favor of the swivels would save me some of that $$$.

My price tag go too toy places were KAY-BEE ,KMART,CVS, WALGREENS AND TOYS R US from what I recall predominantly 💥🤛 Mostly TOYS R US & KAY-BEE TOYS.
