It's awesome that Carson giving us the behind the scenes look at the production of the figures. They make the wait a little easier. All the final designs look great but I do miss the bulkiness of Great Whites original design though.

You know, the deep sea diver design was awesome! Mark Pennington did offer some versions during ideation that stayed true to that. But Kirk really wanted to go with a fast attack enemy instead of a slower and bulkier diver, and Larry Hama wrote him as genetically engineered to not even need oxygen, so that contributed to the decision to go with the leaner, faster swimmer.

Interesting video. Thanks for sharing in the design process. It is fascinating watching the sausage being made. The exhausts on damselfly’s rotor tips, I thought fed off of her mask design, and make sense to stabilize her in flight. Just a thought. She is the figure I am most looking forward to. Of course, Rotelo is a close second. 😉

Looks good. I hope these will fit in well with my vintage collection. They're almost too detailed, lol.

I love the idea of including figure Blueprints with the figures! That type of information would work extremely well with my toy-based Role Playing Game, The Secret World of Toyeboxia that I'm trying to put out this year. I'm loving how all the characters are turning out so far. Bear Claw looks REALLY freaking cool (I may need to add him to my order now) and I'm loving the shark troopers too.

I'm as biased as can be, but definitely add BC! Ron has taken him absolute light years beyond anything I'd imagined. Unleash the beast!

I think I would personally prefer BearClaw have military type camo or similar trousers. I like the moccasins and leather shirt. I think Spirit had moccasins and leather pants also. I just kinda feel like the full leather outfit is a tad much and too much brown, some OD green or camo pants would really make the shirt and moccasins stand out I feel like. Just my $.02.

@@3djoes Totally! For some reason the backpack and ammo cans remind me of Recoil's explosives pack.

@5:35 "they can't get locked into the past". 🤔Then what do we need you guys for 😲. I think the whole point of this for fans is nostalgia and being able to get the old school feel and look from the OG's who created everything we loved about our childhood toys. Maybe a little bit updates but don't lose that old school vibe.

Carson, is it possible that You might upload those drawings - designs and revised designs - onto OR fanpages so that we could enjoy all the details? :) I've screencaptured some of them from Your videos, but it's not the same ;)

I'm not sure if you meant the entire Packdog itself or just the footprint of the cargo area on top? With the concept being for the community to be able to design and print custom cargo accessories like ration crates, med gear, weapons and mounts, etc. If you didn't mean the entire Packdog, perhaps OR could offer Accessory Packs with weapons, backpacks, etc. similarly to CSLB but with additional cargo crates(everyone loves diorama fodder) and a Packdog or two so we could all have a small flock, heard, swarm(?)... pack! A pack of Packdogs and lots of cargo, guns, and gear, for them to carry!
