I take an entertaining look into pop culture toys and collectibles. From unboxings to reviews and previews of the coolest toys and action figures. Sometimes, I'll throw in some unconventional fun!
Interesting that people that are not getting the Jazzinc Batmobile think the only difference is the size. I’m getting the Jazzinc Batmobile 89 and I couldn’t care about the size or “screen accuracy”. I don’t want something that looks cheap. The HT one has no paint. It is unpainted black plastic. The way that all plastic bounces light really gives a toy vibe right away. The jazz inc one will be fully motor painted. Plus, it is cooler that the car curves will be much more accentuated (another difference, not only - 2 inches).

2 questions. 1. The $230 price tag is per rack unit? 2. Do you need separate power per rack unit or can you continue to daisy chain the lights to multiple rack units?
@PopCultureLivingRoom14 күн бұрын
Hi Thomas! 1. Yes, the cost listed is per rack. The cost may be a little different now then when I made the video in 2021. Cost may also differ by where you live. 2. With the shop lights used in the video you could easily daisy chain them without having separate power. Each light has its own self contained power unit. Thanks so much for watching and if you have any other questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

Hello, could you also just simply use 5-6mm thick acrylic panels for the sides and front or is there any disadvantage if they are much thicker than your 1,5mm ? Im currently building a case following your tutorial for 120cmx60cm and not sure before I order online, as I could buy any thickness for the acrylic sheets. Whats the reasoning behind using only 1,5? Is it just the higher price? Thanks in advance
@PopCultureLivingRoomАй бұрын
Hi! For the side acrylic panels you can have them be 6 mm but it is way more expensive. I chose the 1.5 mm because they're cheaper. For the front panel though you do not want to have it be too thick because it would be too heavy. The thickest you want to go with the front panel is 3 mm. On my recent live stream I showed a new way of doing the side acrylic panels using something called slot covers that are made to hold acrylic. kzread.infolZiV3K9XULY?si=P00EIseiLxkWPK84 This Saturday on my live stream I'm going to show how to do the front acrylic differently with different types of magnets. So you might want to check that out. Thanks so much for watching and thanks so much for your support. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.

@@PopCultureLivingRoom thank you very much for this detailed answer. I didnt think about the weight for the frontpanel. Thinner acrylic sheets would be better also for the magnetic power.
