I vote for your "turn-out" then "push back up in-snaplock" mechanics. I can almost hear the clicking right now! If HT doesn't pull it for everyone, I might 3d print better wheel parts so I can have this feature on mine. God, I love having an engineering degree.

Wow real life 5c cable wire instead of fake cable wire 👀
I really hope they fix the wheels! Both Lego and Playmobil have the hover wheels sitting flush to the bottom of the car, and it converts to driving mode. So it is possible from an engineering standpoint I believe.

Apparently play mobile used a ball joint to make the tires rotate to look movie accurate, I’m hoping hot toys does this

Thanks for watching! I saw the Playmobil version and I am wondering why it can't be done on the Hot Toys version. I hope they fix it to but I'm still getting it. Lol.

I bet they'll fix the wheel issue in some form. At the very least they can have the wheels pop out and replace the rolling wheels for a "hover mode" set of wheels. Another question is will they be reissuing the BTTF 2 figures?

Thank you for watching! I hope they fix the wheels but part of me thinks what we see is what we are getting. Hope I'm wrong. They haven't announced any BTTF2 figures yet. I think they will reissue or make 2.0 versions of the BTTF2 figures because (1. they did a 2.0 of Marty from BTTF1 (2. they announced Doc from BTTF1 (3. They announced Doc and Marty from BTTF3. 4. The new DeLorean. I think they may announce them as Toy fair exclusives this summer.

@@setxws6 BTTF3 DeLorean would be awesome to complete the set. If the BTTF2 DeLorean sells well, there is a possibility for the 3rd one. Probably not until the 2nd one drops.
Hmmm... How about the Hot Wheels Elite (BLY44)?

Thank you for watching! I really appreciate it. I looked up the Hot Wheels Elite version. Thank you for sharing this. I had no idea Hot Wheel made a scale larger than their smaller cars. For a 1/18 scaled vehicle it looks awesome and it looks like it has conversion accessories so you can switch out to any of the versions of DeLorean time machine you want. Even the one that goes on the train tracks which is cool. It looks like the Hot Wheels version has the same issue as the Hot Toys version with the wheels folding down lower than the one from the movie. I wonder if it is too difficult to engineer it to be movie accurate. Thank you again!

@@PopCultureLivingRoom hmmm... I think you're right, yes Playmobile did convincing Idea to flipped the wheels correctly with a ball joints (?) But then again, it didn't bothered me to see it's flipped like that, since they already so many companies copying those mechanism Probably Bob Gale needs to answer which one is the right one 😅

The only thing that's bothered me about this "Hot Toys Hover Conversion DeLorean Time Machine with Mr.Fusion" is the lights on the Cooling Vents aren't all lit up and interior wiring still unchanged from MM260, you know there's should be wires wrapped up dashboard to side of it not entirely goes to middle Hope They've should take more time again before the shipping and take references to see the A car at the Peterson for interior details even though it's not the Hover Conversion anymore

I just watched a BTTF2 DeLorean montage which was cool and eye opening. I didn't realize that there were so many more differences. The main undercarriage lights are green and it does suck that all the lights on the vents don't light up. There is one scene in the movie though where the back of the DeLorean is different and the vents are not covering the taillights at all. I am also hoping some of this gets fixed prior to shipping. Here's to hoping!

The Playmobil one is definitely convincing but I am not if it would work with the Hot Toys one. But I'm not sure. It's a shame Hot Toys couldn't get access to the models like Hasbro had access to the proton pack for their HasLab proton pack.

Thanks for watching! I just looked up the Playmobil version. Wow. They did it. Hot Toys should be able to engineer the wheels to do the same but I doubt they will since there hasn't been a change in the prototype in 7 years. Thanks for letting me know!

I really hope so too. I can live with it but definitely would prefer Hot Toys to fix it. They do have 15 months before release so anything can happen.

Some guy 3d printed parts to convert mine into part two and it looks better than hot toys version. They better change the height of the wheels because they are well too low. Problem with hot toys are getting lazy in the last few years just like taking your cash

@@jayson1979 Thanks for watching! I really hope Hot Toys fixes the wheel issue but I am OK with it since I currently do not have a DeLorean Time Machine. I am thinking about getting 2 just to see if I can mod one of them into the Mark 1. I have seen the conversion kits for the Mark 1 DeLorean to turn them into the Mark 2 but the ones that I've seen do not allow the wheels to rotate back to normal car mode. Do your wheels fold back up? If so, that's awesome!
