This is only for the hanging brackets and includes t-brackets to attach either the wood shelf or the metal and acrylic one.

Your enthusiam is a joy to watch and as a fellow toy collector i respect the whole project. But how many people could even buy all the correct supplies much less build these. Most of us cant put together pre-made ikea or target stuff. But your amazingly skilled at this & perhaps you should consider selling them. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you so much! You'd be surprised how many people have made this and the other cases. It's really not hard. I am selling the hanging brackets in a kit at the moment which can easily be paired with a wood board if you're looking for something nice and easy. Everything you need to add a wood shelf to your garage shelf display is in the kit except the wood. I also have a tutorial on how to make the wood board. It's super simple. Go to Lowe's, buy the board, have Lowe's cut the board and you paint it any color you want. Then use the kit to add it to your display. I am thinking about doing commissions. We'll see. Sounds great! The most important things to start are the lighting and microphone. You can easily use your cell phone for the video. And even the lighting in the microphone don't have the cost that much.

Love the tutorials for these shelves man, great content. I dont know why more people arent subscribed. Im going to share this with some of the 1/6 scale figure groups im in on Facebook. Keep up the good work

If you research extruded aluminum fittings, you'll find there are fittings that will allow you to cut the extrusions at a 45° mitre and then use L connectors on the inside.

For the fabric, I prefer stapling. If something happens to your shelf or you want to change the look, you can easily do it by removing the staples from the fabric. Tell your son he rocks!

Love your idea on how to show your display. Have only one question? How much weight can the floating shelf hold? Cause I have premium format statues. Was thinking of doing that for my shelves. Just wanted to know since you made them. Great idea.

Thank you so much! The shelves in the aluminum and acrylic can hold a considerable amount of weight. I have upgraded the t-brackets from 3" long to 5" long and they're a bit wider. Hoping to do an update video soon. I will see how it does with the couple premium format statues I have. Thanks again!

Care to give a rough estimate as to how much these 2 shelves cost to make? I'm just looking for an estimate so i can have all the funding before starting. I'm currently rennovating the room that i plan on building the display case for. I've had some large models for years that I've been waiting to display. These build videos were exactly what i needed.

Thanks so much for watching! The cost of the shelves vary depending on where you live. The estimate is based on if you live in the U.S. The acrylic floating shelves are very expensive. Mainly because of the acrylic and aluminum. For wo shelves by themselves for the aluminum and acrylic and screws will cost approx. $160. Big reason for the cost is we're still recovering from the affects of covid and shipping costs are crazy right now. The hanging brackets and T Brackets will cost another $30+ for the materials. If you want to go a less expensive route, I have my wood floating shelves video. They look really good in the display. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Lol. I would prefer hug. Thank you so much for watching! What's funny is that I didn't have all these tools before I started making these shelves myself. I do have another floating shelf video coming out hopefully later this week and it is using a wood board instead of the aluminum and acrylic. It will be easier and I'm personally liking it better. If there's enough interest, I may do a batch of the hanging brackets. It'll come with everything you need to hang an aluminum shelf or the wood shelf.

@PopCultureLivingRoom hate saying this but I go blank when math thrown my way...math to me is like telling a joke that you understand 3 hrs later so I'm hoping you're next video is alittle easier to understand for us math dummies...I finally got my shelves today...so far so good...the ad says can hold 300 lbs but the wire mesh feels like it'll break in half so don't know how anything heavy will hold? Trying to make all black... what were those black sheets 🤔 you mentioned in your earlier 🤔 videos? I have one of those black storage shelves, it says use a rubber mallet and put pegs into the frame....weird....all new and alittle scary for us who are afraid it will look crappy but hopefully comes out as we dream.
