Your 'bobble' stitch is more commonly known as a 4dc cluster, for those that come across it in other patterns. Nice granny sq though 😊

Do you begin and end each row the same way, i.e. indented hexie or outwardly hexie?

In the case of the purple showing through, if you back whipped it all the way around, it would’ve looked intentional on the back.🤷🏻‍♀️

I HATE granny squares. And then I saw the sunburst hexagons pattern. ARGH! NO! I didn't want to love it, but I did. So I made one for our living room (just finished this week) using the colors in our curtains that I just love. I also misread the pattern because I didn't read far enough in advance and didn't do the join-as-you-go. So I had to weave in a bunch of edges, but the joins I did added even more texture and I'm quite pleased. AND NOW?! I SEE THIS!😭 My husband says we don't need anymore blankets. 🙄 Silly man. One can never have too many blankets! This is a MUST make. Just stunning.

THANK YOU for showing how to sew in the ends in the back loops! So much easier than knotting and/or weaving! You're the only one I've seen do this! Now I can really enjoy making these multi-colored grannies! So happy!

I love this but my tension must be off as my circles pucker inwards. I was closing my circle and that made my dc stitches very tight. Maybe that’s why?

How would this scale for larger circles with more rounds? As the distance from the 'corner' of the circle to the top edge would get larger as you scale up? Would you have to increase your 'corner stich' by a 'half-stitch' for each round? double crochet > half triple crochet > triple crochet > half quadruple cr, etc? I feel like there is some maths to it...
