Crochet: How to Continuous Join as you Go Sunburst Hexagon Motifs Together with Tight (Braided) join
Hi Everyone!
This tutorial will show you have to take your sunburst hexagons and continuously join them with a tight seam that gives a beautiful braided effect. This is a great way to join all projects together and saves time, yarn, and way less sewing in on ends!
I'm using Tweed Delight by Hobbii yarn with a 5mm hook. The joining colour is called "Ivory neon".

Thank you ❤
Such a great tutorial, thank you. The method of joining in each stitch is so secure. Much better than only slip stitching into each space. I will be using this for my current project☺️
After seemingly endless searching for the perfect blanket pattern to make for one of my dearest friends, I have settled on this one. I think the colors you used are gorgeous even though I chose different colors for the one I'm making for my friend, however I do want to treat myself to some of the Hobbii Tweed colors to make one for me!! I found this pattern after seeing the blanket Michelle from Knit Wit in the Sticks made using your tutorial. So, I absolutely love your blanket and thank you so much for sharing it and making this tutorial!
Thank you…I really needed this tutorial just now. It was easy follow, and I enjoyed the humour.
Wow what a great project to use up left over yarns. Going to enjoy this. Gotta make the hexagons first. lol. Thank you.
How do u make a half hexie
your videos are always so helpful! thank you.
Thank you! This is exactly what I’m needing right now. I’m crocheting my Advent minis into hexagons, with your pattern, but not wanting to join as I go. Happy New Year to you and yours. 🧶🥰
Although this is a very beautiful blanket I just love the other one. I am right now making a blanket with the other method and I just love it. I like the 2 rows of the circles with the petals. I'm not too keen on 2 rows of granny clusters. My opinion of course. Great tutorials Mallory
Looks GOOD!!!

Pena que não tem como colocar os vídeos em português que trabalho lindo
I’m going to do your large starburst hexie, but I’m looking for how to do the half hexie. Would love your input! Thanks!
Wondering if you can help me. I have two rows joined but the third row I don’t see where to go without having double rows of attach color which I know is wrong, no clue what I’ve done wrong
if you are doing the Hygge Burst Hexie Blanket, with 10 rows of Hexies, would you do all 10 before switching around and completing the bottoms?
