would this keep rats out? Looks like rats may climb across your mesh and into the loft without landing on the board. I like to have an open loft but rats have taken chicks and adult birds despite blitzing the place with poison. Any helpful advice please.

you should of used upvc boards dirt cheap to day for Nest boxes and purches so easy to clean and keeps the germs right down and the same for walls T/G cheaper than Wood jet wash it down know rot good stuff 👍

Great to watch i have homed pigeons from the age of 15years i am now 62years still get a buzz watching different lofts and breds of pigeons will always have a deep love for these clever birds brings back a lot of memories pigeon fancier ireland.
