you should of used upvc boards dirt cheap to day for Nest boxes and purches so easy to clean and keeps the germs right down and the same for walls T/G cheaper than Wood jet wash it down know rot good stuff 👍

If you put your divider from the last nesting boxes. made out of wood with a sliding door. and then put your wire door behind the main entrance door. you could then put your stock hens in. and make more room for your race team. don’t no pal it’s just a suggestion you could probably divide your section from the shelving you have in there 🤔

You can still take the shelving out 👍🏻

Put the light in the same place. but to The front of the loft that way you will not bang your head and you will be able to see in the to The bottom nest boxes 🤔

What are you feeding them??

There's plenty of space mate have the 4 foot for bits and pieces cupboard on the wall and room enough for a couple of corn bins , looking good mate , if the droppings go on them birds again don't hesitate mate get them on amoxicillin will put them right in no time and it's not as harsh as other antibiotics

I have got one other route to try first of all which is getting the droppings analysed for a homeopathic remedy to cure but I’ve given myself a cut off date that if it isn’t sorted by then we’ll need to do something else. Thanks for the advice on amoxi.

Will you still loft fly the young bird's or not ,?the stock loft is looking s#!t hot aswell , cheers mate

Cheers Adrian, I’m well pleased with it!! Yeah, I’ll still let the young birds out over the Winter as I’m not one for shutting them in over the Winter period. And then we currently have 25 I think for the old bird team next year, all of which will be aimed at Lerwick I think.

a couple of the young birds still look a bit mopy keep them all on the medication for a bit longer
