    Mobile 1 oil suck. They loose their lubricity and just becomes a watery fluid. My engine gets really hot and those oil just basically gets cooked. After many observation how bad the mobile 1 oil look like when i change them. I finally made the switch to amsoil and the difference is quite significantly much better. No more cold start valve rattling and cooked oil. Cook oil in a hot engine is never a good sign for long term reliability.

    @@Syntheticoilprotection America is not the entire world, yes Amsoil is a good engine oil but the No.1 engine oil in this world?I doubt that. Amsoil are primarily PAO with some ester in it, there are other local brands engine oil with Group V based oil at a cheaper price here in Malaysia. The company name is Chemlube. The new Valvoline Restore & Protect is the first and only motor oil that prevents future deposit formation and restores pistons to factory clean by removing up to 100%, can Amsoil do the same thing?I can go on many other lubrication companies that may not be well known in America that do the same or even better than Amsoil at a cheaper price.

    @Syntheticoilprotection amsoil is a great product, but extending the oil changes to 25k (even with a filter change) is not good for an engine. There's no way. Again, I'm not saying amsoil is bad, every oil company has there "extended life" oil.

    Whatever man. I put synthetic Castrol Edge 20k oil in my Lexus IS and Fram XG 20k Oil filter. Change oils out every 10-12k miles. Nothing else,… the car had 362,230 miles on it before it got rear ended and even after the wreck drove like it was brand new. All that extra stuff here is for the birds!!! ….isn’t worth our TIME. TIME is priceless!!

    Actually I've had many people run all the different oils that have switched to Amsoil and they like Castrol the best you're on a Greek oil at the moment but there is still a big difference with the other fluids it does cumulatively add up and make a big difference. Have you ever tried the Amsoil? I always tell myself don't knock it until you try it but once you pay for it and see how good the quality is then you can give your opinion. That's what I always say to myself. ♥️ Your vehicle can run better than brand new by choosing the right fluids! 🇺🇸 50 Years of AMSOIL anniversary - kzread.info/dash/bejne/f4WJ07R7eZvKdJM.html

  • @Syntheticoilprotection
    @Syntheticoilprotection18 сағат бұрын

    Yes the standard fluid service is changing the pan fluid the rest of the fluid is in the torque converter and that stays there so we did a standard service. What I did on my personal car is I came back and did the pin drop after 5,000 miles change it a second time to have more fluid in there and get the clean magnets and filter - kzread.info/dash/bejne/k5Nmt7CqZ6m1Yag.htmlsi=i4GEW-l_7NQbH0uB

    I just changed mine at 110k. I tow a 9k pound camper often. It just started to act weird. It fixed my issues but i still hate this transmission

  • @Syntheticoilprotection
    @SyntheticoilprotectionКүн бұрын

    That's awesome yeah there's a lot more to the transmissions and also the trucks. For instance one thing that can make a huge Improvement is doing a relearn on the transmission there's a separate computer that controls the shifting patterns that can be reset on most of the vehicles from when I'm aware of I've done it on my personal car and I've noticed a big Improvement. Another thing that could be an option is getting a different rear axle ratio that is a lot of weight for a gasoline truck. I used to work at Ford and talked to a lot of old timers that were born in the 40s and they told me that on any truck if you ever tow over 6,000 lb you always want a heavy duty truck. The brakes are different and the Transmissions different on the heavy duty truck and their specifically built for those applications the Ford trucks can do up to about 11,000 on the 1500 with the right axle ratio it's just that it is pushing it and when you push it you can warp the rotors if they overheat and you can shorten the lifespan of the transmission but the truck will still tow 11,000 lb with the right tire and axle ratio. I would definitely try the relearn on the transmission first I would also get the intercooler fluid changed and the coolant changed on it immediately with the Amsoil propylene glycol is what I use it's the white bottle concentrate and the Dominator coolant boost. Another subtlety since you're putting a lot of pressure on that motor that I would do if I lived in Vegas with your truck I would also get the aftermarket oversized intercooler it helps get rid of a lot of heat and can make a big difference under load. I'd start there if you're still not happy with the truck it might be time for a 2500 or 3500👍

  • @stephennewton8855
    @stephennewton8855Күн бұрын

    @Syntheticoilprotection it's has the common long shift when cold in 3rd gear . I did do the tsb for the relearn and it "fixed" it for a week or so. Idk I'm a ford guy and can't bring myself to buy anything else. Will be upgrading to a 250 soon when interest rates go back down. Thanks for the information 👍

  • @Syntheticoilprotection
    @Syntheticoilprotection23 сағат бұрын

    @stephennewton8855 great!!! Yeah the only other thing I can think of is the axle to Tire ratio sometimes just getting a smaller Tire can really make a huge difference if you are Towing one thing you can try is getting like a 255-55-18 it would be a great City Tire for driving on blacktop but not too good off-road but for towing and Highway purposes you would see a big bump in drivability. Also your rotors will have a little more power because the smaller wheel will give a better leverage with the rotor

  • @stephennewton8855

    @Syntheticoilprotection I'm running 3.55 gearing with 305/55/20. At 80mph with no trailer I'm still under 2k rpm in 10th

  • @Syntheticoilprotection
    @Syntheticoilprotection20 сағат бұрын

    @stephennewton8855 that's a fairly tall Tire I think I would go to a 3,73 rear end axle but I think a 410 would be a little too short. Really the cheapest thing to do when you're towing is the just get some steel wheels and just do the cheap set of tires like a SUV tire that is a city street Tire like a 255 55 r18. Your truck would jump off the line with that wheel and tire package. You'd also have better braking. If you want to keep those wheels on all the time you can do the 3.73 rear axle.

    I’ve let mine go for too long. I see that you hadn’t done a complete flush. I will be doing this repair with a filter BUT I would like as much flushed out as possible. Would you recommend that I replace the original trans pan with an aluminum pan with drain plug? Could I flush/ dilute by driving a couple hundred miles and then drain again after filling it the first time with Mercon? I guess what I’m trying to say is I’m trying to save money by not putting AmsOil in right away, rather just do on the last filling after I have changed it for the 2nd time (couple hundred miles of driving). Or do you have recommendations on DIY flushes? Thanks man!!

  • @Syntheticoilprotection

    Will you see it really has very little to do with the make or manufacturer it's mainly how the vehicles taken care of which is the lifespan of the vehicle and how much original compression in drivability is retained over the interval of miles and use my car for instance is driven 79% City driving in one of the hottest cities in the world so my mileage is more like 170,000 miles is the actual wear on that motor but since I run Amsoil my car runs better than brand new average is 20.7 MI per gallon average 25 mph average speed. Also you'll see a dino video on my car with the torque difference compared to an oem car of the same type you can find the video on KZread my car makes about 47 more wheel torque. Totally different car than OEM after everything I've done to it. As far as Toyota I always happen to like the Honda's better because of the easiness to maintain I still like Toyota a lot but just small subtleties they both will go very long if you take care of both of them. @@Syntheticoilprotection I buy 4 stroke 5w40 dirt cheap comes in bags. Honestly tho if you wanna sell your oil start selling it in bags that shit is just the best no funnel needed. I dont see many people doing it but genuinely a game changer. I apply this logic to everything. battery? So long as its got the go handle its the right battery. People like convince more then quality.

    You don’t need to add all that extra bullshit to your cooling system if you use the factory coolant you’ll be perfectly fine

    This isn't an additive for the cooling system this is a replacement the coolant we used is much higher quality than OEM it is specifically built to meet and exceed the 18-wheeler specifications for cavitation pitting and calcification keeps the rubber gaskets lasting longer and seals helping extend the life of water pumps this is the product - www.amsoil.com/p/amsoil-propylene-glycol-antifreeze-and-engine-coolant-ant/?zo=5331179

    Yes I always add the Boost to my personal car every 6 months 15,000 mi High replenish it a little bit you can add it in full concentration once a year 30,000 miles whichever comes first I do it half a mile halfway through the year to keep it dialed in.
