🇺🇸 Did you know a oil manufacturer can call a lubricant a Full Synthetic when it's only 25% synthetic? AMSOIL is different because it is 100% Synthetic and has a higher film strength keeping the metal parts separated. AMSOIL allows less friction, less heat, less wear on the component. AMSOIL Signature Series motor oil has guaranteed protection for up to 25,000 miles or 1 year of normal driving.

I’m about to change the oil in the 2021 Rubicon. I used 0w20 Amsoil SS for the first 35k miles then switched to the 0w30 Amsoil SS and now has 55k miles. The 3.6 is a night and day difference with it being quieter running the 0w30 especially on its cold start up. I change it every 5k miles bc it’s simple, easy (I can change it without lifting, only need drain pan, 🔧, ratchet, extension, 15/16 socket, funnel, and couple of rags, filter and it only holds 5 quarts. Very simple, quick and doing it every 5k miles, I know the engine is cleaner than it was when it was manufactured. Most will say it’s overkill but I say I’d rather have peace of mind and for about $70, it’s worth it to me. It’s what I want to do bc I choose to do so.

I have been running Amsoil Signature Series oil in my cars for over twenty five years. No major engine failures and the inside of my engines look like new after 100,000 plus miles. I change my oil at 15,000 miles. Lately, I drive a lot less so it usually gets changed around the 5,000 mark.

Hi Eben just wanted to post my most recent Amsoil experience. I have a 2021 Hyundai Tucson. I changed the oil at 500 miles and then every 3000 at the dealer because they covered it under a 3 year service plan. It now has 15k on it. I changed the diffs to severe gear , the transmission fluid to Signature series and the oil to signature series. It does drive better than new. It's so smooth. Before when you put it in gear you could tell because you could feel the transmission engage. Now when it's in gear you can't even tell until obviously you accelerate. Next I need o switch the coolant as with only 15k miles it was already getting crusty around the cap and inside the overflow bottle.

    15 күн бұрын

It depends on the vehicle and the fluids being used. For instance, the signature series has high detergents. So the oil will get really dark on an old vehicle because it's cleaning up all the build up inside the motor. I remember I got all sketched out on my corvette Is corvette when I went five thousand miles It was super dark because it was cleaning all the build up.That was left inside the motor. I didn't. Know about the engine flush and I never flushed it So the oil was even darker and I thought it was bad , but all it was Was cleaning the old build up inside the motor

You do a mean sale's pitch. You're definitely good at it. Good attitude and energy with some talking points. However....(I'm sorry), but Amsoil isn’t always worth its premium price. The reason is that vehicles that have oil dilution issues (from direct injection and short trips) can not be remedied by ultra premium oil products. These direct injection engines require constant oil changes regardless of oil quality. If Amsoil was only a few dollars more than an affordable Super Tech synthetic...it would be well worth it. But that isn’t the case. Amsoil gear oils may be worth it, but not motor oil. There are a LOT of DI engines out there now. A lot of vehicles that from this inherent flaw need far more oil changes. The high pressure fuel gets pasts the piston rings and into the oil, regardless of the oil quality. They can need changes as often as every 3,000 miles or 3 months. The fuel in the oil makes the oil level too high with a very strong smell. Amsoil's premium price is hurting Amsoil. The new (PITA) higher maintenance engines are leaving those prices in the dust.
