Just did the third oil change on my wife's 2008 Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep only has 71k on it but whoever own it before me did not treat the Jeep well. I only have used the Signature series on the Jeep and with each oil change I used a flush. The engine is the 3.8L V6 definitely has regained some lost HP. Each oil change that engine has gotten a little better. Of course all the fluids in the Jeep have been switched over to Amsoil. I won't use any other product but Amsoil. Keep up the great videos.

I love it yeah that's so cool they're finally doing these smaller diesel motors that have such good efficiency it's really a cool development in Automotive world💯 I remember diesel garbage trucks how loud they were and now in another couple years those garbage trucks will probably have a really small baby Duramax and probably use about 1/3 of the fuel they used to back 30 years ago👍☕️ That'll be saving the birds the bees the fish and the mother xxxxxxx trees 👍☕️

@odelldickey2218 it would primarily depend on the oil analysis test that's the best way to do it however Amsoil can comfortably be ran up to double the interval depending on the component this vehicle is recommended for OEM however I've done some oil analysis and it's still good for longer it just depends on the driving conditions and the maintenance of the vehicle as in the amount of fuel additives used to keeping the injectors Clean and Free from field dilution. Hey Eben I’ve been wanting to ask I have a 2017 Volkswagen Passat 1.8 tdi I currently have the 5w30 LS like the formula you used in the video as a clean up dosage for now since I couldn’t use the engine flush at that moment but for my next oil change which I’m going to do at about 5000 miles. I currently have 3000 at the moment. I was going to use the 5W40 euro but there’s two bottles, one being black and the other being red what is the difference between the two my car is on the heavier side of mileage 73k thanks again, love your channel.

Oh yeah the difference is the sulfur Ash and phosphorus ratio one is midsaps sulfur sulfated Ash and phosphorus and then the other one is full saps it has a little bit more of those additives if the lookup guy calls for both I would go with the full saps you'll be very happy with it that's what I run my car I actually run the zero w40 and that's my favorite so far that's the orangish yellow bottle and just making sure your preferred customer getting the best price this is my link if you haven't became a preferred customer I would be your Amsoil Dealer when you use my link☕️💯 I give a man a fishing pole & show him how to fish. Have you done a test to see how long amsoil oe last long term since it’s says to go off your recommended change intervals but how long could it actually last if you push it to its limits and try 15k miles on the oe

Oh yeah it will last a very long time however it will run low on base number Base number is an additive package that's put into the oil to keep it from getting acidic once it gets acidic it can cause harm to the engine with gaskets and different seals and all kinds of things like that so that's why it's recommended to change at the OE interval the Signature Series has some other qualities and also the actual base stock itself will keep the metal Parts separated better because it's a higher quality lubricant with the additives definitely something to use if you live anywhere where it's extremely hot or cold you definitely would want to stay with the signature series if you live somewhere mild the OE oil is ideal if you drive a short distance every year and that way you can still run it than normal interval

Oh yeah some of them click some don't this one is just pressure fitted. I currently use Amsoil in my engines and am extremely happy but will the flush wash away the varnish on internals? Meaning increasing play or tolerances on components?

It will run better because the oil can get in the place the carbon and sludge was to create a better film between the metal 👍

It's too bad Amsoil's film strength has significantly decreased ever since Dexos 1, Gen 3 evolved. They can no longer be trusted. I now use Ravenol. Just know that while I appreciate your channel, you're no longer representing a company with integrity and the highest of quality ingredients. In fact, even their transmission fluids are far behind other brands which have far better wear protection.

This oil is no better than Royal Purple or Redline or some of the other name brand oils out there if you change your oil when you're supposed to. It's way too high priced even with a discount for ordering regularly
