RVingWithJoe

RV'ing since 2004! In 2022, I purchased a brand new Ember Overland 191MSL and took it on over 10,000 km of trips in the first year. My channel covers the Ember and my journeys as well. I include travel videos, how-to videos, and you will often see my wife and dogs appear in some of the videos. PLEASE SUBSCRIBE AND COMMENT!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE??

Thank you for showing porkchop. This is the greatest thing for me this year and I m so proud of my doggie. Joe's RV shows highlight all that is good in the mobile life. There's knowledge and adventure but most of all there's good people who smile and wave and offer a hand if they see you struggling. Thank you Joe.

I love your dogs. One looks a bit like the Maltese we recently lost. We just got back home yesterday from a 12000 km trip around Canada to find a sympathy card from the veterinarian. I hope to get out in the Prevost more this summer. Diesel is going up more. Maybe that will change when we remove the current "leader" so we can all travel more. Thanks for the videos.

Thanks for sharing the tennis ball shtick, pretty cool. In a previous life I ran sled dogs for 20 years. I had a 14 box trailer. I would open all the doors and go unchain 14 dogs and then go shut 14 doors. Tooooo much fun. These days I live on a mountain with a border collie. No collar, no need for one. Arlo gets to be a real border collie watching over the place andkeeping track of me and my two old Mustangs. He's like the American Express card, "never leave home without him". God bless old dogs.............

why can't US camping trailer manufacturers not put a little more interesting styling into their trailers like the ones in Europe? Most times it is just a molded fiberglass nose and tail cap but somehow they look so much better than the rectangular and angled straight panel boxes made here, at least in my opinion.

Well, every campsite here has WiFi, and most have 4G, and I use a Garmin Sat Nav with a Backup of using Waze as a Sat Nav on my Mobile Phone. Whilst it does require forward planning for parking enroute, this is no biggy, yes people use Starlink here, but I've never had a situation where I've not had sufficient connectivity for WiFi/4G when required, and there's literally nowhere on a road in the UK where 2G is unavailable for telephony, or 3G/4G/5G for my Mobile Broadband. That may change when I tour South West Scotland in Late July SWC300 for 8 days, and Late August North Coast Scotland NC500 for 14 days. At the moment the Rolling Monthly Contract SIM I use in my 4G Hub can be varied each month from £6 to £35 per month, or simply switched off for a month at a time. I can't actually justify the capital and rental costs for Starlink at this time whilst touring the UK, but that may change when we tour the Republic of Ireland, Iceland, or the rest of the European Mainland using a Ferry or Channel Tunnel.

Same could be said in south eastern Canada with lots of coverage but BC is insanely mountainous and in some places so very sparsely populated that there are big dead zones. Canada: 9,984,670 square kilometers (sq km) United Kingdom: 243,610 sq km Canada is roughly 41 times larger than the United Kingdom. Canada's population is estimated to be around 41 million The UK's population is closer to 68 million. So, the UK has roughly 27 million more people than Canada.

I turned my volume down, so must be on your end, but you audio is so loud sharp and what the refer to in the biz as hot, and that's not good. Also do you have to narrate, it drives me nuts it's like pre-spoilers, instead can't you show the video and then talk about it after, gives us a chance to view it on our own without your opinions? Fix these things and I'd subscribe. But I'm just one person. Thanks for reading.

Don't know if double towing is legal in Florida, but I've seen it multiple times. Funniest was 1 pickup towing a 2nd pickup with 2 golf carts in the bed (both with the front end tipped up so they would fit) towing a travel trailer. They were getting onto I-75

As a mountain biker, I've settled on a marine air horn, instantly available, on the handle bars, just got to slap my palm down. I also have a bear bell, so I make noise. Wind doesn't effect the horn, and I don't have to aim it. I got that idea from a long distance solo runner in Alaska.

You probably want a trailer that was towed, rather than hauled to the dealer. The brakes need to be broken in, if you buy a trailer that has been hauled you may not have brakes for about the first 1000 or so km.
