Please keep us posted on the Lippert gate Defender saga.
Hey Y'all. I kinda like setting out not knowing where we'll land for the night. Part of the adventure.
On the leveling thing at the front, just replace it with an electric winch. Problem solved!
The best part of that unit went down the red hose 😅 Keep rocking 😊 your blessed by woodies the "other people" you know the ones on the decal in your backwindow, and the manufacturer... if it wasn't for woodies.... js...
My compliments to the drone operator, nice. I enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing!
On that front Jack, instead of using an old sticky red use a slide lubricant it doesn’t collect a dirt and won’t jam it like the red sticky. I use it all the time on my slides. Haven’t had a problem in a decade.
You're doing a great job with your drone work.
I just love these, lets go camping videos. I'm getting my bike ready for next summer too do the same.
Hey Joe just found your channel and I’m loving it. I see your up in the PNW. I myself am located in Arlington Wa! If you ever are in the mood for glamping, I recommend Sun Lakes in eastern Washington :-) again glad I found your channel
I feel sorry for you. Most tongue jacks are 3500 lbs. But no lippert says no we put one on for 750 lbs. I think that it won’t work but then what do I know. Awesome video thanks 🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦

Yes this front hitch is slick but it’s underpowered. At some point we figure we will be using an impact gun and at some point swapping it out.
Love your channel Joe! We watched all your Ember videos to help us pick this camper out. We ended up with a 170 MRB Max solar. Love the construction it is a very solid camper. Do yourself a favor and the next time you weigh your rig drop the camper and go back through the scales so you can figure your tongue weight. Brand new and just home from the dealer my 170 has a tongue weight of 775 lb. Add in 55 gallons of fresh water and it goes to 825 lb. I don't think there's any way this Jack will hold up. Fortunately I won't be using a weight distribution hitch because I have a Ford f-350.. just going with a sway bar attachment.

775lb/351kg to 825lb/375kg? Wow, my tongue/drawbar/nose weight never exceeds 165lb/75kg, and the RV/Caravan has a maximum laden weight of 3750lb/1700kg, my Station Wagon/Estate has a maximum laden weight of 4630lb/2100kg
Maybe the grease worked it's way in to the motor housing and created a grease version of hydraulic lock? who knows let us know what you find out.
It looks like your dogs had fun. You and JoHanna don't look like this was your first rodeo with stuff not functioning with an RV.
😲 truck n camper weight, r u the type of travellers that pack everything including the kitchen sink? (U heard that old saying huh? Packing everything including the kitchen sink 😂). 🍻
I see that grease comment all the time. It is not the grease! But don’t get me wrong, people must do preventative maintenance. I see you do a good job taking care of your Ember. But an off grid RV should be capable of lifting itself from various pitches or angles it is resting on. Manufactures should know , off grid presents various terrain slopes.
👍
Did you roll through that stop sign in Princeton..

It was a stop… a California stop.

Did the motor fail ? Did it blow a fuse ?
