Bring it!
Looking forward to this one! Thanks for the update Mark.
Nothing like artificial hype to sell your product, lol. Software developers have made used car sales seem noble and honest.
I guess your glass is half full. Don't like it...don't buy it. Simple.
What about the price of this simulator ?Not cheap I presume .
Can't get it to detach on 2020 and right alt grand didn't understand cheers
Try Alt enter, your pop oyut screen is being hidden by windows
Mike Patey is an amazing force of nature. I wish I had a tenth of his energy and enthusiasm. They say " If it looks right, it'll fly right". no-one could say that his aircraft don't look RIGHT. Looking forward in particular to the Draco X - outrageous performance.
Does this set up work with the crystal light?
It was crazy to hear that every aircraft featured so far is in the base simulator. 😮
To whoever this helps, for reverse thruster, they did make the detent a mapable button. But still, none of the hold/toggle reverse options actually put it in reverse. So I mapped that new button to "decrease throttle," and now when I'm at 0 throttle and lower it into the detent, it will go max reverse. So, there is no way to use the 0 to -15% throttle it goes from 0 to max -15% throttle.
Has anyone tried with other aircraft, i.e . Citation CJ4 or others ?
This does not work ..as the drop down list 2 years later are difgferent.. I just want to properly set MY XBOX/ pc thrustmaster hotas 1 TO WORK WITH CURRENT PC SETTINGS NOT XBOX EVEN THO I HAVE THE XBOX VERSION OF THRUSTMASTER... IS THIS POSSIBLE FFS FFS DAMN IT
i was surprsied to see the option for doors or no doors with the MAX. such realism!
I decided to buy a H3 on your recommendation. Wow Dof reality how bad are there customer service? Bearing missing from H3 install kit. Adam's reply from customer support was a very unhelpful it should be in the bag. Next the product key code was not recognised. Adams answer (eventually) have you tried the product key code. Of course I have, does he think I'm some sort of moron. So now I have a 3.5k ornament which does nothing, still waiting for a resolution. Very bad company to deal with when things go wrong.
I was a member of a flight club here in Mooresville, NC that flew remote controlled aircraft and helicopters. The Draco was one of the planes that several members had and flew at the field. I was going to buy one but decided against it when most (not all) of the owners told me that it was extremely difficult to fly without crashing it. Now, that could have been due to lack of experience, or having the plane not setup correctly as far as setting the Center of Gravity, and having all the control surfaces in the proper position when in the neutral position, I don't know. I'm certainly excited that this plane will be included in 2024 as a default aircraft. I can't wait to give it a try!!!
I love that they're implementing so many third party payware and freeware by default in MSFS2024! So excited for November 19th!
does any1 think the INTEL ARC A770 16gb will be a good card for MSFS 2024, i only want 60 FPS 1080p on high settings , the rest of my pc , i5 13600k, 32 fury ddr5 6000, samsung 980 pro 1 tb
Flying fast and low over big cities will be a real problem for 60 fps on High.
Yay!
How come James Bond hasnt flown this Draco. in the movies yet??❤😅
Good point 😮😂
Probably because it has been wrecked and Mike has not got around to building a new one.
@@zorbakaput8537 🤣
but but but Oct 2025 Windows 10 will no longer be supported so we all will have to go to windows 11 ( shudders ) and how will 2024 work with that.
I'm pretty sure 2024 is being tested on Win11
@@tubeloobs fingers crossed
MSFS 2020 & 2024 works great with Win 11. Recommendation you upgrade sooner rather than later. MSFS 2024 is tested on Win 11 not 10.
Running MSFS 2020 on Win 11 for year, working perfectly once you debloat your installation.
@@SimHangerFS well I can enjoy 2020 till Oct 2025 when windows 10 is no longer supported phew
After stunning FCU from Winwing, I ordered stick for A320 straight away.
Long due!!
I have Oculus 2 and RTX 4060 ti 16 GB and I happy when I fly Comanche from A2A.
I'm still using the Sidewinder II and have been since FSX,I got mine on Ebay and still can find the odd one there for very reasonable prices.I still hope Microsoft will take on my suggestion and using the same case format, will make it battery powered. With modern motors that should be possible......................................
If you review the Moza base, could you check how it works with a Virpils stick, specially non metal ones, and if there are limitations, for example, if the pinky brake lever works as an axis or just a button.
Will check it out. I have the Alpha Grip
Was the price of the cyber taurus in the ballpark of the logitech g940 when it was released?
Those force feedback bases are monstrous in size and price. Sadly neither of that will work for me. Why can’t companies reproduce a compact version like the old Microsoft one? Surely technology has improved to make it even smaller and cheaper. THAT is what will excite me, not this bloated, extravagant garbage
how the hell no one asking about shared cockpit
See the follow up video (and solution) here kzread.info/dash/bejne/pp51uc6seNKtaZM.htmlsi=IxImroP6A47RnDWa
when I got back into flight sims a few years ago I was shocked at the dearth of force feedback, since I was familiar with racing sims. it's great to see this happening
I might as well set up my direct deposits to go straight to WinWing. Take my money, just take it!!! BTW The price is between $500 and $550 UPDATE: Common sense says I underestimated my price, little birdie is telling me I'm over! This is gonna get interesting!!!
I wish this would work on xbox
Moza went straight ahead after the expo and gave a $549 / 599€ price tag and started accepting pre-orders.
I also heard the winwings Cyber Taurus price was lower than I expected but if it is true this is great news to consumers. Let’s hope Thrustmaster arrive to the party without their ridiculous pricing. I have hopes for the next 2 years we will have more jumping on the force feedback bandwagon.
Excellent video ! I have done exactly as you and also I’ve tried DLSS-DLAA. I’m getting some shimmering effects with buildings that have lines close together such as corrugated steel hangers with TAA, but I agree that it does look better than DLAA and I’m getting a solid 45fps. DLAA doesn’t have this issue but I can’t get above 30fps. Running i9-14k, 64GB RAM, 4090 GPU. Also noted - I can’t seem to use my mouse when the single mirror window is selected - it’s not the active window. You’d have to have a separate monitor to use this.
I had the Logitech G940 FFB stick and although not perfect by any stretch of imagination I still long for it after its realism today after having also Thrustmaster Warthog + F18Grip and now a Virpil stick. FFB is "how is meant to be played".
It was nice to meet and talk to you in line registering for the Expo
Thanks for coming up and saying hi…I think you were the first to do so 😀👍
Couldn’t pass up on a Sidewinder 2 force feedback for £15 about 3 months ago, only had a little dabble in DCS so far, hopefully MSFS 2024 will have some functionality baked in, as a Winwing stick owner it’ll be keeping an eye of the FFB base.
The amount of nm isn't everything with ffb gear. I own a Brunner NG yoke which fits nicely on my motion platform. The CLS60 is so huge and heavy it would give a motion rig a hernia. Also the quality of the software and the smoothness of the motors has a greater impact on immersion imo.
The company that made the FFB for the Microsoft Sidewinder 1 and 2 had a patient on FFB sticks for 20 years. No one could make and sell them because of it.
I didn’t know that. Thanks 😀
VIrpil are also hinting that they're going to announce a force feedback controller in the next few days.
Now that would get me excited!
I still have my sidewinder
Amazing, wish I had kept mine 😢
What a time to be alive! I still have my old MSFFB2 in storage, because there has been nothing like it. Unfortunately its sensors are not very accurate, so I haven't used it for 10 years (I first replaced it with T.16000M, and later Winwing Orion 1). I'm happy to see more (reasonably priced) options coming soon. Sim support should also improve, as more players start demanding FFB support. 🤤
Ordered a CLS-60 while it's on sale. I hope their FFB rudder pedals are a fair bit cheaper than the competition. The only other option we have right now as far as I'm aware are brunner pedals which cost 1800 euros (1700 for the heli version). Looking forward to the comparison videos of all the FFB sticks coming out/out now.
just thought about it hang on Windows 10 ends October 2025 what shall we ever do , I mean a new sim and all wondefull and everything but what of windows 11 how will that effect flight sim 2024
I have a CLS-120 on order and really hope they start shipping soon. I'm getting inpatient lol. Surprised to hear Winwing being competitive on pricing as I have a few of their older things and they are pretty good btu very over priced.
There are rumors that msfs 2024 will come without a community folder, is this true?
Very exciting times and great video! I am in the hurry up and wait mode; I want to give all of these products a good six month wait to see what issues are resolved in software.
Evidently, you pay by the newton, i.e., the "force." If Winwing and Moza are selling their FFB components at much lower prices than Flitesim, it's because the motors are much weaker. Moza lists their specs, and they are, indeed, relatively low newtons compared to Brunner, Flitesim, etc. Winwing doesn't even list any specs, which is telling.
Brunner will still have to drop their prices to compete. I imagine by at least €100
@@CAL1MBO You're right. However, I'm not sure Brunner really cares -- they don't put much effort into marketing. Brunner's website is so plain. They do make fine looking products, though.
How strong does a flight stick ffb have to be? Ive been flying with a very old Microsoft Sidewinder 2 ffb stick for decades and its excellent. I doubt it has even one newton of force and yet its force is more than adequate. In response to some wondering about the lack of fans causing overheating issues in the Monza, the Sidewinder 2 has no fan. You can play it hard for 50 hours and it won't get the least bit warm.
Well, it comes down to a question of "realism." An affordable Sidewinder gives "feedback," which is great and fun, but it's not adequate enough for someone who wants to simulate realistic flight forces.
I use a modded MS sidewinder 2 ffb stick which knocks out 4nm…ish with the resistor mod. 9nm, which the Moza and I believe the winwing too spec should be a nice enhancement. The VP force rhino is also spec’d at 9nm but costs 900+ Euros plus taxes……looking forward to the ‘in hand’ reviews!
