I ordered one of the 50 pre-sale units. I should get it by mid-July. I am pumped! I am hoping that users will be able to swap configurations.
Neat concept, and I wish them well, but I’ve sworn off crowd funding of physical products. When they have production up and running, and I can buy one with a solid ship date then I’ll consider it. I’ve been burned too many times
Gonna need a bigger desk! Great review Mark 👍
Thank you for all the great info!

Thank you for supporting the channel. Hugely appreciated 👍
Superb, just invested in one as a backer.
The 50 pre sale units sold out within a few days. Im waiting for the Kickstarter, it was supposed to open on the 15th May, but nothing so far.
Nice job as always, really enjoy your videos and can’t wait to try this out. Just had the realization that I’m a mega nerd…yeah it just happened. Can’t wait to figure out how to get my hands on once of these. Also, anyone get the Apple Vision Pro running smooth with MSFS?
Very interesting! It's great to see many configuration options but I wonder if there will be a table of 'base settings' for various popular aircraft in MSFS based upon real world GA Pilot input/experience. It would be very useful as I can foresee many simpilots adopting unrealistic settings.

Not sure, but users are likely to post these over time.
Mark, the funniest thing just happend... A week ago, I bought myself a FANATEC CSL DD Wheelbase, CSL Pedals and the ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 Esports V2, cause I'm also into Sim Racing. So, I disconnected my Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and installed the Fanatec setup. Today, I installed the Sim Update 15 and once that was completed, I went into my control setup in MSFS 2020, and what would you know, the Fanatec Wheel is listed in the devices to control MSFS... I really wasn't expecting that. But I thought I wouldn't be able to get any of the buttons or axis mapped. I made a new profile under Fanatec Wheel and yes, every button and axis is completely mappable. This is crazy. This is a Force Feedback Direct Drive Wheel and fully compatible with the flightsim. I will do some tests with it, once all the updates in the content manager are completed, but I guess the force feedback will work too. There's an analog joystick on the wheel, which gives me the possibility to program rudder axis and elevator axis. Not ideal, but it works... There is also a 4-way joystick, but it also has a rotary encoder, that I have set to elevator trim. I will keep you posted on my progress. But for now, I'm just sitting here with a big smile on my face. It might maybe be a little bit silly, flying an aircraft with a F1 steering wheel, but if it works, why not?... There is also a background app for the Fanatec wheel, that sends telemetry data to the wheel LEDs, If it recognizes MSFS2020. But I don't see why it wouldn't, MSFS sends all sorts of telemetry to external devices. I just wanted to share this with you, as I find it to be a nice adn also funny experiment. Here a link to the Fanatec website, so you can see the devices I bought : fanatec.com/eu-en/steering-wheels/clubsport-steering-wheel-f1-esports-v2

Wow. Yes please keep me updated!
Profiles could do with having a meaningful label, like Cessna 172, not 3.

Good point.
Would love it, but much too expensive for me. Even if the relative cost against the competition is good, it's still too much for me. Good video Mark.

Fair enough!
I just ordered the CLS-120 (shipping in August). I’m also soon to order the NLR Flight Simulator Pro Stand like you use. I’m curious if you have discovered a mounting solution for this yoke on that stand? It is a rather large box weighing 21lbs. Thanks for the great videos!

I used a 400x400 (mm) aluminium 4mm plate to support it, held by clamps.
Mark... I am very interested in the internals and how they compare to the Brunner models. Please inquire and let us know in your upcoming videos.

@@SimHangerFS Yes, I saw that... the operative question is "How this yoke compares to the Brunner Models." Brunner is proven but at double the price / triple the price depending on the model. Seems likely there were serious compromises that FliteSim made to meet this price point. Is the FliteSim yoke a "You get what you pay for" device that won't last? What testing regimen was used and for how many hours. Please see if the FliteSim team will help with more details. If they won't be forthcoming, a wise decision would be to wait many months and see what real world usage is like. If they want early sales volume, it would be good to provide this kind of information. Thanks.
You can’t really believe that ffb isn’t more widespread in flight sim hardware. I don’t think you can even buy a motor sport sim steering wheel without ffb!
Maybe it is at a good price in relation to the competition, but affordable at 800$? I don't think is the right word to describe it.

What can we expect from the company for TRIM WHEEL integration, especially XPlane??
@iNherjer

They are working on a separate trim wheel, other solutions are under investigation

Great content. I love Flight Sim tech, however, a friend recently asked why I spend so much money on computers and add-ons to fly in a simulator, when I could have used my money towards real flying and PPL training (obviously, doesn't get it). Have you ever taken real flight lessons and if so how do you find your Sim experienced has helped? Thanks.

Are you using the pimax light, sir?

Not yet, waiting for mine to be shipped 😊
Can you use this with a Jet? Seems a little big as far as dimensions?
Do you happen to know if the yoke moves (like in real airplanes) with the Auto Pilot engaged?
