I can see why you would keep inching away (I'm Jose Guerra on your relative) you stab the throttle to 40-50-60% out of the corner exit to find the traction limit faster, where as I gradually apply throttle for fear of losing the rear and spinning out. I have to give this throttle method a try. Sadly I'll be out of town for the RBR races, but the throttle application should apply to all tracks. I was in an incident halfway through the race. I wasn't expecting you to brake early, but I should've been a little more cautious with you coming out of a slowdown. I'm surprised it even called a slowdown on you there; that's just crappy luck with that wreck. Better than a totalled car not avoiding him I guess. GR though, you kept good pressure I had to account for while staying on the tail of P3. You mentioned how you could force a pass but didn't trust yourself; I laughed because I was in the same boat. Lawrence was fast the latter half of the track, but I had maybe .3 on him in the first corner but he held really good defense. I'm trying to get back up to A license and 3k so I didn't want to force anything and lock up to give you that free position. 😆 I also resigned to staying right on his tail and waiting for him to mess up. I think this might be because of the season switchover which may have been going on when you were trying. My UI looks different probably because I made the video several seasons ago and I do have my UI in dark mode. The hairpin following that section is also probably my weakest part of the track I'm very slow through that corner. I've noticed that in some corners (like turn 1 in Spa), you start to release the brake pedal before turning your wheel. This might potentially lower your braking efficiency. Regardless, I appreciate your videos immensely and absolutely love them!
