Welcome to my first-ever race at the exhilarating Algarve International Circuit in the iRacing Porsche Cup series. As the number 5 car, I managed to secure a middle-of-the-pack fifth-place start, which was a solid effort for my first time on this technically demanding track. However, there’s always room for improvement, and my qualifying technique at Algarve certainly has some catching up to do.
With recent updates affecting car launches, I faced additional challenges right from the start. Despite my preparations, I struggled to get off the line effectively and quickly found myself losing places as the race commenced. This early setback put me in recovery mode right from the first lap.
