In this video, I’m sharing the first race I did after returning from Watkins Glen. It was quite a challenge as I only got home at 2 AM and managed to squeeze in just about an hour of practice. For some, that might be enough, but not for me.
During practice, I was hitting 1:33s on a cool 83°F track, but race day threw a curveball with a scorching 131°F track temp! Despite being the number 6 car, I qualified 9th and struggled a bit to get up to speed due to the limited practice time.

Ugh. I swapped places with Nico. Then he came through on the downhill T3, I was wide and THOUGHT I was along side heading into T4. At the time, it seemed as though he was squeezing me and that I was holding my line. Upon review, I actually turned a few inches into him and spun him across the track in spectacular fashion. I apologized afterwards... You, I was doing all I could throughout the race to just stay with you. Nice smooth run - seemed like flag to flag easy run for you.
Nice job, even Jim thought you did well! The track limits at Red Bull drive me crazy.

They are really tough track limits.
Just did a race today, I finally got my first top 10 finish in Porsche Cup! lol I was lapping in the 1:36s 😅
