So close... | iRacing Porsche GT3 Cup - Snetterton

Ойындар

Welcome back to another episode of high-octane iRacing in the Porsche Cup, this time at the challenging Snetterton circuit. Starting the race as the #5 car in a promising third position, I was geared up for a strong performance. However, racing is as unpredictable as it is thrilling, and a split-second mishap right off the line set a different tone for the race.
The excitement kicked off unexpectedly when I hit the limiter at the start, disrupting my launch and giving my competitors a slight edge. Despite this initial hiccup, I managed to hold my ground for the remainder of the first lap. But just as I was settling in, the second lap brought its own set of challenges-a series of events that tested my resolve and racing strategy.
🏁 What happened in that dramatic second lap?
🏁 Can I navigate through adversity to reclaim my position and possibly clinch a better finish?
Join me in this gripping race video where I battle against the odds at Snetterton. Watch as I maneuver through unexpected setbacks, leveraging every opportunity to stage a comeback in a race that's as much about mental strength as it is about driving skills.

It's Cam, who tapped you. You popped up in my feed for another video and I thought your name looked familiar. Sorry for the bump after your slowdown! I wasn't expecting you to brake early, but I should've been a little more cautious with you coming out of a slowdown. I'm surprised it even called a slowdown on you there; that's just crappy luck with that wreck. Better than a totalled car not avoiding him I guess. GR though, you kept good pressure I had to account for while staying on the tail of P3. You mentioned how you could force a pass but didn't trust yourself; I laughed because I was in the same boat. Lawrence was fast the latter half of the track, but I had maybe .3 on him in the first corner but he held really good defense. I'm trying to get back up to A license and 3k so I didn't want to force anything and lock up to give you that free position. 😆 I also resigned to staying right on his tail and waiting for him to mess up. Dude is an ice man though. No mistakes to capitalize on even with me filling his mirror. Thanks for the respectful racing! You just earned a sub. 👍🏻 I'll see you out there next time!
