After an exhilarating weekend at the IMSA Watkins 6hr race, I jumped back into the virtual cockpit for a challenging race at the Red Bull Ring in the iRacing Porsche Cup series. With my plane landing at 2 AM the night before, preparation time was minimal, but the race couldn't wait. As the number 7 car, I managed a respectable 8th place in qualifying-decent given the circumstances but still off my usual pace.
Despite the limited practice, I found myself inching closer to my target lap times, adapting on the fly to the demands of the circuit. The race started amidst chaos, with competitors jockeying aggressively for position. Navigating through the turmoil, I emerged ready to take on a fierce battle for sixth place.
