I always was intrigued by Mishima Yukio. Hid books were very insightful on the history of Japan vs modernism.

Sometimes an inspiring character can make you overlook political ideology. I'm Chinese, so I'd be the last person to support Japanese imperialism. But I know many people from China who are fans of his work

He is a patriot, but he is neither an imperialist nor a fascist. That consideration is shallow. He is a romantic writer in pursuit of classical beauty, concerned about postwar left-leaning education and the Americanized Constitution, and simply trying to preserve prewar Japanese culture and the samurai spirit.

@@adwaadwa-hb4hn nope bro he's literally a fascist get real, educate yourself on what fascism actually is, the answer is right in your fuckin face, also pre war Japanese culture was literally fascist and led to imperialism and numerous genocides of east Asian peoples, like seriously clearly you're a conservative yourself so you muddy the description with your own weak "patriotic" ideology

SEÑORA LÁZARO He vuelto a hacerlo. Me doy vuelta y me abraso. Ceniza, ceniza… Que eres tú quien atiza y quien remueve. Carne, hueso, no queda nada… Una pastilla de jabón. Un anillo de boda. Un empaste de oro. Herr Dios, Herr Lucifer, tened cuidado, tener cuidado.

Their deaths were certainly easier than the deaths of the two million Jewish children, some tossed in ovens alive, the deaths of the handicapped children of all religions, the deaths of the Roma children. Just awful to see the faces of these children, though, the oldest girl struggled so mightily again her mother that her jaw was broken.
