My father's elder brother ended his life as a pilot of Kamikaze Tokko-tai. The fact that over 60 years continuous peace after world war Ⅱ lies obviously in a foundation of thier sacrifice. I should like to express my sincere gratitude for every single soul fighting for Japan.

Brave men both sides. I'm glad US and Japan have built such great band of "Tomodachi" or friendship today. That was possible because both sides once fought to the end and acknowlidged the bravery of each other. It was not just Kamikase but those who fought with Kamikaze were so brave too.

This is the atrocities Japan committed against Korea when Japan colonized Korea. Japan has compensated South Korea for the money, but the money cannot be an apology. They claim to have apologized with money, but not a word of sincere apology like Germany. In addition, Japan has done hundreds to thousands of wrongs against Korea. The Japanese government teaches history-distorted education and the educated Japanese think they are true and do not think the content is wrong. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qp1-2aVte7zbqLw.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/p4eDwamSdLKWm5s.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/l4WHq9CJiaWweJs.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/aaaqw7GvkciZaZs.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/m5p_rrGfcanRmdo.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/e6SDw62eqJXHh8o.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZaltqtWxhcfIgLQ.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/q4aFuLOtXdWsYLQ.html

First time saw this film when I was 10-year old and that was at a small theatre in my home town in Indonesia. I was so touched and strongly impressed by these Japanese brave acts. Although they knew they could not win the war they fought bravely, gave the lifes to their country, their people...Now I live in Tokyo, I have naturalized to become a Japanese and I am very proud to be one...Nippon Banzai!!

these men deserve to be honored. they are just young men in their early twenties. they knew that japan was going to lose the war. these sad men searched for a valid reason to die, convinced themselves that their sacrifice was a necessity to protect their family and friends, and took off with their loved ones behind. these guys are sad and brave men who deserve to be honored. they are the real victims of war and should be remembered as not only brave but as a reminder of the sadness of war

Common sense of the 2014 and 1945 is completely different. Japanese had been afraid that their will be slaves to the United States. It may happens if there is no Cold War. Japanese of all may have been forced to work somewhere in Asia to death. There is a history of racism and slavery in the United States. Kamikaze's a warrior who fought with the real threat

personally I find it honorable, that men and boys like you and me .. scared of death, scared of losing their limbs .. still went out to fight for their families and countries. They faced bullets, bombs and torture .. some of them loved the war, but most were scared shitless .. to do what you fear to do requires courage right? so these men were courageous .. and we all die eventually .. so the reason why these men are celebrated is because of the way they died -> defending values they cherished.

IJN had a code of honour which was broken at the Battle of the Bismark Sea. An invasion fleet of thousands of Imperial Marines was decimated which left hundreds treading water, hanging onto debris and some in rafts. US Admiral Kenny ordered all to be executed in the water (even rescue vessels were to be targeted) The blood bath (on film) took over two days. This changed forever the nature of future sea battles as the Japanese never forgot what happened and it would come back to haunt the Allies

I have tremendous respect for the young men who flew the planes. Brave and determined warriors in each and every case. But I am glad they failed to stop the advance of the Allied forces in the Pacific. And I am glad the Naies of those countries had men every bit as commited to their cause. As a serving British soldier, I believe that normally individual soldeirs do what they see as their duty. Sometimes, however, they serve a Nation on the wrong path.
