This was much more motivating than I thought it would be. I'm a not-so-recent bootcamp grad and was feeling the pressure of the industry saturation. I made it to the final round of a job I was really excited for but got outclassed on paper, even though according to the feedback I got we performed equally as well in technical interview. I'm building my portfolio website right now with Next,js, and will continue to work on my skills until I land that software job, even if I have to go back for to my old job for a spell and create projects in the evenings and on the weekends. Thanks for the video man.

I'm able to manage 2 hours a day through the week and 4 on weekends so like 18 hours a week. trying to learn C # so I can work a program with Microsoft. Having a really hard time getting the fundamentals to make sense but have only invested like 20 hours total. I'll keep pushing

Talking to my brother and kids around my block, all of them want to go into computer science now and they are my competition lol! Need to be a lot more dedicated and work at the craft than to do 3 month bootcamp to do well in software now.

I don't know anything about coding. I decided to test ChatGPT last year when came out to public. At the end I built an small process simulator on Excel for the Oil refinery I am working. I cannot imagine what can be done now with Devin avalilable.

Something that I have been questioning about the 14% benchmark is whether Devin had access to the internet during testing. Cognition AI told us that they had removed the remote branch before testing, but if it had internet access couldn't it find the PR, they are there and closed already? Perhaps I am missing something though. Guess I will not know until they decide to publish the paper.

Good luck with QA. In the end it all comes to user experience and quality control. Even with tools like devon you need people to make sure everything fits together as it should. I dont think companies would take the risk and give all that quality resposibility to a couple of folks and ai coding machine. I wouldn as i do not trust ai. You will never see me in ai controlled machine
