I'm a self taught web developer and lately I've been feeling that I'm at my saturation level because I'm an introvert. Recently, I had mild interactions with other developers and It felt good discussing concepts with others. I've been feeling the need to connect with the community to grow and explore. I really appreciate the advice! Thanks kenny :-)

Yeah. I deleted all social media except for Reddit. Reddit is by far the best social media for software developers. I’m even a Reddit premium member lmao

Kenny Gunderman, you're a good man. This content is one of the golds on the Internet. This will help me improve in my programming journey. I really appreciate this video.
This video is so good that I’ve watched 4 times already, thanks a lot for the tips, excellent and useful content!!!
needed to hear these! keep rocking 💯
Solid suggestions. I appreciate that you are always keeping things straight forward, no bs, no fluff. You're my favorite software engineer to reference for tips. Too many software engineers on KZread peddling bs.

appreciate this video a lot as it speaks from the heart. im currently self teaching - which I will say is rough... its not a cake walk, its not glamorous, its not fun at times either. ADHD doesn't help with that either but that's not an excuse. I try NOT to use my phone in the morning though it can be hard at times as I'm so used to it already. Im overall trying to better myself with better food and exercise (snowboarding) and hoping that will ease up the mental work i have to get into. Im not great by any means at self learning, but im slowly getting there, with a lot of procrastination and a great heap of no discipline, i will one day succeed at getting a job!
Thanks for the tips!
Good to see you again man
I've seen a lot of videos on productivity, but they've all been garbage. Your video is the only one that has worked for me. Thank you
Hmm always getting the best from Kenny, but I think deleting your social media is not really advicable something, well this video is motivational alot. Thanks Kenny 😍👍
I’ve been doing this for 2 months without noticing and it’s I can agree that this is helpful in many ways
Kenny you are a really good motivational speaker thanks for the advice bro.
Wow. That's very in depth thinking. I believe your suggestion will help me. Gonna try it from today. Respect from 🇮🇳
great advices.I am following some of the things.Beneficial
It feels like you would like the book "Digital minimalism" by Cal Newport. He has a couple of great books on productivity! :D
Good stuff as always! I love coming to your videos to find great content that motivates me to keep working on my own new Tech KZread channel. Can't wait for your future content!

Wow I can’t believe someone actually does the same thing I do I used to endlessly spend time on tiktok in morning day and etc and one day I just quit and my life has gotten way way more productive and having an extra control over myself even if you think it doesn’t harm you.
Deleting social media is spot on. But if your just gonna redownload them may as well setup some proper downtime settings
Thank you for this video
very nice sir ! you are great .
thank's for video, How much time you spend for learning new programming languages from scratch ?
great vid Kenny (nice nyc b-roll too where'd you get it???????)
Fear is a distraction. Success is on the other side of Fear. Good video 💯
Daily visiting a food trailer with Kebabs or Burritos or Tacos and buying it for 8 euros - it's your inspiration to make your life easier, an idea generator. Your studies are paid by a government all you have to do is to come and take trip. There are better ways than rewriting a book with a code sample. Go ridding at Valdrakken with Maruukai during your your break.
You are in NYC like me. I just started a coding bootcamp on 8/1. Will you be going to any coding meetups?
Vielen Dank für Ihre Informationen 😄
thanks for tips
Im Zero knowledge and clue about coding/programming and i want to learn but im not good at deep researching.where should i start. -from Philippines
That "first thing in the morning" part might be helpful for some, but you clearly are a morning person, and I know there are others like me out there for whom that advice will not work at all XD I'm useless in the morning, all my brain power and energy seem to be at their peak in the evening/night, so I actually need to "warm up" with some tasks that don't need much concentration first before jumping to the more demanding stuff.
As a dev rule #1 is soooo important social media in the morning will ruin your productivity USE it at night before bed.
Hello Kenny!
Where would one find an in-person, safe coding meet-up?
Hello I am confused between should I learn UI designing or enhance my coding skills I am 2years into React and React Native should I move to web3 or learn UI UX kindly guide me.

What is it that you want to achieve? Because it sounds to me like you are chasing the latest fads. What good learning web3 will do for you? Do you have projects in mind? Do you have a plan on how you will complete the project? My advice would be to sit down and actual do the coding, and work on a project. Learn bits along the way when you actually need to learn something related to the project you work on.
Great video 💯 but is it really necessary to delete the apps when you can put the phone on DND or freeze the social media apps?

Personally I cannot work very well the first thing in the morning/when I wake up. I have to be awake for about 1-2 hours before working to get into a flow and feeling refreshed.

@@ipodtouch470 I believe I do since I always strive for 7-8 hours and usually do sleep that entire time. I have sleep apnea but I have a CPAP machine to control that. I have always been tired after waking up since I was a child, even after sleeping between 6-8 hours. Personally I work best during the evenings/night and when I had a flexible time at my last job I usually worked nights instead and my productivity increased. :/

honestly, im not working a job or anything just yet, but if i wake up early in the weekends with a lot of work, i still play some competitive games for about half an hour just to wake up with a nice cold cup of iced coffee. i feel you with that lack of motivation first thing in the morning
Personally, I'm not a person who is addicted to social media, but I always use my phone to play music, whenever I wake up, which is a bad habit of mine, I believe.
Good morning
What do you think about the fact that we remember some new information better just before bed?

It's pretty easy, actually, and that's the thing. Over time, if it's too tiring and not worth it, you just stop using most unuseful and wasteful social channels.
Misled by the title and disappointed by the content. Dislike.
