Interested in picking up a TF2 blazer, wondering what you find is the largest tire that fits, minimal rubbing. Looks like a great crawl spot. Tons of features all in one spot. And the camera was fine also. Big fan of DJI Osmo pocket.

I ran the Marlin Crawler stock tires for awhile….not sure what the outer diameter was but they were too big…they hit the body…yeah the DJI Osmo Action seems to be a decent camera for the price 👍😉

With the mod 1.5 gears do you move the weak point of the driveline to the diffs?

@@V8chump I haven’t had many issues personally…but I’m sure it probably transfers the shock to the transmission input gear (I’ve stripped a couple of those), the center diff or the front and rear diffs on hard impacts

Nolan what shock oil do you think is best for stock xmaxx shocks? Stock 30w seems a bit thin for bashing? I get less chassis slap out of my e revo with 50w oil and the variable dampening in the stock shocks… maybe it needs slightly heavier springs and oil? 🤔

Glad you liked it! Audio is a constant issue…I film on my IPhone and even when using an external mic I still seem to have audio issues…it’s very difficult to get good audio on a budget

How the slash is still working if the water is reaching the electronics and everyting? Is because is a slash 4x4? Vxl? I have a 2wd slash and i just pass it for little puddles and it almost stop working

All the electronics are waterproof….you’re usually good unless water gets into the receiver box

Great video and bash. if you can turn the tires in the air but not with resistance, it sounds like your servo might be going. i would check that.

I think I going to get another stampede but two wheel drive just like yours but one question. What happens if I only put one set of tires on the back that are bigger than the front. Because I have a set of Traxxas sledgehammer tires and I’m thinking of putting them on it but I only have two tires I can put on. So would it break if I put two different size tires on it? And I am thinking of buying some paddle tires on the back in case of sand like yours and I’m wondering if that would put stress too?

If they’re bigger than stock you’ll probably be more likely to break from the extra weight and rotating mass….but otherwise it shouldn’t affect it too much

2400kv is pretty low….it would work but you’d have to gear it up a lot to get decent top end speed

No the body is set fine….the tires aren’t belted…so it expanded to the point that it exploded….it didn’t actually explode cause it touched the body

I broke my drive shafts after i put the spektrum 3-6s ESC in it. I have RPM A-Aems and I'm having troubles finding upgraded ones that are long enough. They're a tad longer than the stock arms.

When you put the arm pins back in, you should have put them in the other way so they're accessible. That way you don't need to take all that stuff off if you need to do that again.

I have a v1 revo. Running 6S in it. I put a Spectrum 160 amp 8S capable ESC and a Castle motor. Haven't broke anything yet. Did replace the spur gear with a steel gear and steel traxxas axle shafts. Beast!!!

The Revo seems to hold up a lot better to 6s power compared to the Summit…probably cause the Revo was built for 6s power and the Summit wasn’t….my Brushless Summit breaks on 4s most of the time lol

Nolan, them damn tires are crazy expensive… that’s why I don’t run mine all the time. One good day with the boys and there goes a set of tires… I did however find some that last 4-5X longer. Hobby park. They are only rubber, no foam, but they are solid and pretty thick. About the same cost but they last me 7-8 really good bashes before I need to change them.

How long do those tires last if you aren't drifting the whole time? 60 bucks every 2-4 runs would get spendy really fast!

Yeah the water color is very unique….I hope they continue to make parts or at least have a huge stock pile saved up for the Summit…cause they do break lol
