Love the summit content! Your the reason I went shoulder deep on mine, max 8 g2 sensored 4278 motor, mip axles, proline driveshafts, single perfect pass 56kg servo, still haven't driven it, currently geared 14/65. Any advice on which gears to put in the diffs? And what main gearing you might recommend?

Thanks! That’s Awesome! I definitely recommend the Hot Racing Spiral Cut gears for the diff and Hardened Steel Spider gears…aluminum diff cups isn’t a bad upgrade either…I like the 17/62 gearing….it was just a bit too high of gearing for this big of a tire

Is there a true track conversion for the Summit like they have for the Revo. That might be a nitro Traxxas thing. Not sure but it would help over all strength. Cool cool man Traxxas models back then were sure ahead of the game 👊😎

Cool test, It's kind of sad Traxxas discontinued both the 1\10 Scale Summit and the E-Revo 2.0 VXL this year but i don't know how i should feel about them getting discontinued. I'm not sure if Traxxas plans to do a 3.0 E-Revo and a 2.0 Summit or if they plan to end them all together but keep parts available.

@@RCKnockout I know Traxxas has the Sledge and the XRT which i think were intended to replace the E-Revo 10th Scale. And Traxxas has the TRX-4 crawler which has been very popular since it launched and it has a driveline that's been proven to be more durable than the Summit. I've seen people put 6s power through TRX-4's and they took it without a problem which no offense to your summits. Maybe Traxxas will make a 2.0 Summit who knows.

@@cjchannel12RC that’s true….but a trx-4 is solid axle….not really designed like a summit….Sledge is probably similar size to a Summit, maybe a bit larger

@@RCKnockout From what i know the TRX-4 is a solid portal axle truck like a real life 4x4 rock crawler. The Summit is on the same platform as a 1st Gen E-Revo brushless and has the long arm travel suspension setup that was optional on the 1st gen E-Revo.
