Nice runs! Congrats on the 60+. I've found that if you tuck the body sides into the chassis side skirts, it doesn't balloon near as much.

Nice. Ive been thinking about seeing what my top speed is on the street with my 4x4 and 2wd slashes. Ive been curious about an off road speed run build too lately

Just for consistency can you go back to just saying “easing on the throttle?” That’s my favorite part of the videos. Also order a perfect pass launch control for speed runs so you don’t actually have to ease on the throttle and don’t cause a lot of voltage sag and less rpm.

@@RCKnockout yeah it’s awesome you can almost setup some controllers to do it but it’s not the same.

Something might be wrong with your esc or batteries. 34/50 gearing, 2100kv motor, and I'm guessing 4 inch tall tires, thats geared to be 100mph theoretical top speed and typically you only loose 10-15% not 35%

It’s not a speed build so I’m not super concerned about it…that’s plenty of speed for a basher…you also have to realize this is on 3s and 4s…the esc is capable of 6s….there’s no way this is gonna reach anywhere close to 100 on 4s…I’ve run this exact same gearing in the 100mph Slash and the most I’ve gotten is 88mph on 6s…that’s also with a 2200kv motor and better aero

@@RCKnockout yeah anytime my slash 4x4 gets over 65 it all of a sudden thinks it's an airplane. But it's also going 65 with a max10 2400kv combo on 4s, 20/54 gearing.

@@aaronschmitt2120 yeah anything more is too fast for a Slash…maybe the Max 10 is just a better esc….i was only going 48 on 4s with 23/54 gears…which is still alright for most bashing but way slower than I thought

@@RCKnockout I'm more of a throw more power or speed at the problem kinda person, but I do agree, any more then 4s in a slash and it's no longer a basher. My 6s fiesta rally is my 100mph project and it's only good at one thing and it's also a money pit. My 2wd hcg slash that I slapped together with spare parts from other builds is the one use the most.

That motor is way out of line it's all jacked up in the front
