The whole point of an all motor build is to have something you can beat up and it’ll never break, not really max hp

I went LS in my old 73 ford maverick strictly because of the size and price. I wanted to go coyote so bad to keep it all Ford but ended up going 6.0 with a t56, full front and rear suspension and a 8.8 rear end, disc brakes, etc. whole build finished out the door all done by me and my dad for the cost of a Ford racing 5.0 crate engine at the time when we started and I haven’t even pretended to look back.

The 2k swap. I like to drive my cars a lot, and if something happens I like being able to grab stuff from the parts store instead of being stranded because I need some super special holly part.

Old engines always beat out new engines because they are basically racing engines detuned to meet emissions laws and standards.

Quick question for someone smarter than me lol can you re sleeve a 5.3 with 7.0 sleeves and make it into a 427? Obviously you would need 7.0 crank rods pistons heads and cam but can it be done

If GM offered them as standard equipment, they’d deploy on the highway.

That would’ve been an incredibly stupid waste of money to buy a complete new truck to start this build. Nothing except the body panels is original to a factory truck.

Being able to lift my car with the push of a button anywhere would certainly be less annoying than dragging the jack and jack stands out. Not worth the $1000s the system probably is but still convenient.
