Why Lamborghini V10's Are Way Too Overpowered😳| Explained Ep.22

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Lamborghini might have developed its V10 using Audi's money, but there's no denying the impact the Gallardo and Huracan has had on the drag racing and roll racing scene.

I'm not so sure. Details like crank design changes were covered, but I'm none the wiser as to WHY the Lamborghini V10 takes boost so well, assuming it does. Zero mention of the longevity of these boosted engines. Also world record was mentioned a few times in a vague way without saying what for exactly. I'm guessing road legal (in USA) half mile, but I have my doubts that's exactly what was meant. In short I don't think I was satisfied after reading the title.

Taking them to a drag strip they are still pretty reliable but yes things eventually break. But with the right builders, they find the parts that break and make parts to rid of that. Even then things still happen dude. But as I said.. If you're not launching it. It'll last 😊 obviously you still need to perform proper maintenance and preventative maintenance.

I'd always thought that despite being an "exotic" car, the Gallardo (and in effect, the Huracan) has become the the successor to the Supra JZA80 because of how that V10 handles stupid amounts of power. Glad I'm not the only one who thought about it. These twin-turbo Lambos are really potent, can't really argue when some really consider them the new "King of the Streets" because of what they can do.

Love it man.. this is good stuff but take UGR for example. 3500+ hp isn’t pushed through factory Lamborghini blocks. Most big builds are going to. Be designed to spec billet blocks for that 2000+ hp. Yeah factory motors can hold it but not continuously. Love these vids bro

You don’t need a billet block for 2000, people are running 2000 on stock motors.

@@stephenweewoo2000 whp on stock motor? You sure it isn’t just a dyno queen? The most I seen from the V10s in the R8 and lambo are 1800 whp stock motor and that wouldn’t be reliable.

The blocks are cast in Audi's factory in Hungary but are assembled at Lamborghini's factory for the Gallardo and Huracan. Its an Audi V10 no matter how you look at it.

I'm a gearhead and didn't even realize modifying the Gallardo was a thing. I worked at a BMW dealership for a bit when I was younger and one of the techs had one but it wasn't modified like this. Now the murcielago and hurican I knew people liked to modify a bit... subbed
