Hosted by Ryan Socash - Over 20 years ago I traveled from Chicago to Krakow, where I began the romance of a life time - European culture! My obsession grew to the point that in 2006 I permanently relocated, eventually taking on Polish citizenship, the language, a business, and a family. As the years pass, I found that the more I learned about my new country, the more of a foreigner I realised I was. Basically, the complexities of slavic people pose more questions than answers, and in a way thats how they keep me fascinated. Experience Europe through the eyes of an American immigrant.

What DNA test did you take?
Dodam jeszcze że na początku w tle słyszymy SDM- Pod kątem ostrym. Bieszczady❤
Greetings from Ghana... wow. This is fascinating. "...laying there looking at a crucifix..."😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Ten sarmata ten kosmita ten komunista ten wojewoda ten banita...
Hi, what the fk did you just asked? I'm from Poland, lived under Communism, not to mention my parents PTSD from WW2, Holocaust, Genecide of my people. Bro, I'm coming home to live the rest of my life in Peace. Big "NO", to all the Freeloaders. My country was 75 percent in ruins. Poland rose from ashes, we rebuilt our country, food supply, and everything else. The difference between Polish people and those crawling for Asylum, is that Poles are not lazy, I don't owe anyone else anything, just my people.
Now you can just go across the border to Hungary and eat the same foods, except halusky which is made from cow's milk in Hungary, sheep in Slovakia. You are speaking Polish in Slovakia? You know that in Poland what they say about Slovak language right? You don't know about Polak Wegier dwa bratanky? Co?
teraz nie do pomyślenia! za ten ślad węglowy greta zrobi z Ciebie miazgę!
Dont forget all of that means nothing,it was plain unsafe, people could not walk outside at night Alone.
Okay, what makes you Polish? Knowledge of the language, history and respect for the country and national symbols. During the partitions, so 123 years, when Poland disappeared from the map of the world, Polishness was preserved in people, not in the land. People risked their lives teaching children our history and created beautiful works of art and literary that today are symbols of patriotism. You don't have to live here or know Polish geography to be Polish but you should know the history of this country and treat it with respect because the number of people who died so that Poland could exist today is gigantic. We survived partitions, wars and communism not thanks to the passport, but thanks to the memory of our tradition and history.
Wow! Amazing!
Being born in Poland. 🇵🇱 my lady is a 💯 polish! Polska. If you spell your name with I for males. A for females.
Hello fellow Goral!
No, we are not, regardless of what occupier tries to claim
Another reason to move to Poland.
Dziękujemy.
How to fail at running a casino 101: use money for hookers, parties and golden toilets, waste the rest on schwag
I call bullshit. It's not a language. This is what happens when you let a culture of failure dictate a future. Education is a key to build hope and survival. That is hood talk. It was "I have a dream" not I has a dream
2:29 I loved this lady, she is very knowledgeable and kind 3:33 guy thank you for being interested and supportive, but we are not at war and there is nothing serious
Steve Siczka!!! Dobrze wyglądasz!!! Pozdrowienia!!!!
"Plaża dla psów!?" 🤣🤣🤣

Videodaki çoğu kişinin kökeni Amerikan değil Afrika asıllı göç yapan kişiler ama sorsan onu bile bilmezler hahaha
Jeśli być szczęśliwym i wolnym-to tylko w Bieszczadach ❤
Many people there Not all are the same
WAŁĘSA SIĘ SPÓŹNIŁ 😭
Trump properties will all be gone soon :).
Sa z toho poserieš! 😂😂😂 Áno, slovenské a české jedlá sú si veľmi podobné. Hlavne záleží na kuchárovi/ kuchárke. Češi nevedia robiť chutné halušky s bryndzou ani piecť originálny Skalický trdelník. Slováci vedia pripraviť všetky pokrmy perfektne a veľmi chutne👍😉
Well... We have history full of wars but also full of mutual respect. I believe Turks are great both as friends and as enemies but I'm happy that now our countries are in the same alliance and I hope our countries will have even closer relations.
Are the Silesians more similar to the Sorbian people in Germany?
Exactly
2:46 As a Muslim (and as a Türk), I am offended by the mosque's call for prayer being so loud at a place like Adampol/Polonezköy.
People weren't running to America from Upper Silesia only from Galicia which was in the Austria-Hungary partition.
Is it just me or is Ebonics divisive? If a black person in the the US rejects their own national language (English) and insists on speaking a different (contrived) version of it, it seems to me like they are making a point that they do not want to be associated with mainstream American culture. As if they reject their own nationality. Why didn’t Obama speak Ebonics? Because it would have made him seem uneducated and ignorant. Would you want to see a doctor who spoke in Ebonics? Or a lawyer? There is no need for a “protest” dialect when a common language exists. It seems to me that America is scared to say “Speak properly” for fear of being labelled with the dreaded “R” word. The only place for Ebonics in my opinion is in comedy. See Ali G , a wannabe English gangster (Sasha Baron Cohen), or Borat (same actor) as he tries to check into a hotel. That’s because it portrays the person speaking it as an object of ridicule. If you act the fool you shouldn’t be surprised if people think you are one.
1% is just a trace result. Might mean nothing.
Pretty accurate results
Silesia was once German. Posen was once German.
To mój zespół !!!, KSU !!!, Boże ile bym dał żeby tam być!!!🖐️😘🥰💪💪💪🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱, jestem za Polską!, chociaż tam mało byłem.
Charming dialect....Lmao
This region (of today Poland) was long time ago an austrian and german region untill 1945. That is whay they are different to us, or maybe we (the "other Polaks" are different to "them"😅😅😅)
First of all you have to be born there, also your parents and granparents, at least you have to be from Slavic decent ( the whole eastern Europe) Do not be angry with me but I have to say this truth: You have to be WHITE period! I am NOT a Rassist Just a Original Polak WHO IS living for the Last 40 years abroad of POLSKA myself. I am 49 Now and have never been to Poland since 1984... Ironic isn' t it?
I have felt the same way about America. It feels weird like the history doesn’t belong to us. O it doesn’t that right we the stole land. Other countries have long deep history. I don’t know just my thoughts.
Cool video, I’ve never been to the east coast. Have you been to 4 corners? Where the Utah, Colorado, New Mexico & Arizona borders meet. Oh & I need my coffee each morning too, lol. ~new subscriber ❤
MyHeritage probably include ancient Greek and Roman DNA. I've got 3% - 4% Italian somehow when from Ireland, but who?
