This movie made everyone want to try snowboarding or even surfing anything that encourages kids to be outside is good enough for me.

Didnt know people didn't like this movie. I loved it as a kid and it honestly got me interesting in studying mythical creatures. I still prefer seeing dragons in this style where they are living, thinking, conscious animals instead of "evil dragon, must slay" or exotic animal with dog personality. Not to discredit the other versions. I love HTTYD series, but I love his Draco was another person than another animal

You know it's really sad to see the same guy who played as Roland Tembo from The Lost World - one of the most badass characters in the franchise - also playing as an annoying bumbling idiot. I mean - nice acting range but still.....ROLAND FUCKING TEMBO!!

Nope, I still hate 🤬 this movie. It's writing 📝 is horrible, and it does the Spider-man No More story plot too soon. Doctor Octopus 🐙 shouldn't have the same problems as Green Goblin and Venom, like having multiple personality disorder. VFX are still great. Spider-man shouldn't be having his mask off so often.

I actually liked this movie when I was a kid, and the scene where Draco became a constellation played in my head when I heard about Sean Connery dying a few years ago. Oh yeah an episode of 'The New Adventures of Robin Hood' completely ripped off the plot of this movie but with a Giant instead of a Dragon.

Since its been 7 years since this "Series" premiered I thought I'd share my thoughts; While this is a cool concept, its very poorly executed. Doug hasn't really done anything new here. All he's done is taken screenshots from Winnie The Pooh and placed them into screenshots of Silence of the Lambs. All I'm seeing here are still images of Winnie The Pooh characters superimposed onto pictures from SOTL with some impressions playing over the top. Its barely even a video! At best, its a glorified audiobook. Its not creative, or groundbreaking or clever. If you had animated this series, that would be better. Imagine it, a recreation of Silence of the Lambs but animated in the style of the Disney Winnie the Pooh movies. Ingenious! A true juxtaposition between terrifying horrors and children's animation. But no. Doug's just lazy and put in the bare minimum effort. Also for those who haven't seen Silence of the Lambs, they're not getting the full context of the story. All they see are screenshots. Again, if the scenes were recreated in animation, that would be better and create a clearer picture of the story. Without it all we have are some impressions playing over some pictures without a real story. If you want to make an audio series, turn it into a podcast. But don't get lazy and just upload some screenshots which occasional zooms in or out. Very very poor.

There will always be a special place in my heart for this movie, but I admit it could BENEFIT from a modern remake.... I like the story as is, but and certain character character motivations should be flushed out better. And I would love to see a BETTER, Updated dragon

I saw this movie once when it first came out and thought it was unremarkable. The only scene I remember is when Connery swoops in and shows his half-heart to the villain guy in whose chest was the other half. Don't remember any of the names, or anything else that happened.

Unpopular opinion, but I quite liked ATLA 2024. It was really really good. I would give it a 9/10 overall. But that score is kinda pointless when ATLA 2005 would be a 13/10.

Actually looking at that chameleon rock effect they did with draco looks good still and thats crazy but its a shame they couldn't do more of that in the film. Very ambitious film for sure and I'd say it helped move along CGI as we know it today. Leprechaun 4 CGI will always be the worst CGI Ive ever seen😂😂😂hands down. Worse than PS1 graphics type stuff. Love your take on this film!

20:19 again is astonishing how little research the critic does for his videos, Draco didn't give him "the strongest half of his heart" it just give him half his heart, you know THE HEART OF A F*CKING DRAGON!!!! he has the endurance of a dragon.

sigh, u know what? instead of the seven dwarves, what if her friends were all the disney princesses? And for the preincarnation of Ariel you had a girl who was disabled that wanted to walk instead of just throwing in a disabled character for the sake of a disabled character? And you could have had her as teh friend who betrayed everyone because she was so desperate to have freedom yet afterwards it would feel like with every step she took was painful which woudl tie in to the orginal fairy tale HOW WAS THIS SO HARD???????

this was one of my all time favorites as a kid, being a big reptile fan (as half the kid population) I loved dragons, dinosaurs, crocodiles, etc. so this movie was a threat for 10 year old me, also the latin american dub got Jose Lavat as the voice of draco who had a very distinctive deep voice that sounded equal parts manly and wise, as such he also did the dub version of aslan, but he's more remembered as the narrator of Dragon ball, bottom line in the latin american dub draco sounded very wise.
