After The Dark Knight was released, I was hoping it would adapt Over the Edge with the GCPD hunting Batman as a main plot point but with Riddler as a criminal profiler matching wits with Batman. Maybe Gordon covers up clues to Batman's movements, but Riddler is Gordon's superior appointed by a new anti-Batman Mayor. Riddler finds out Gordon ran off during the Joker standoff (Gordon did say 'Harvey? Where is my family on the cellphone right before Batman confronts Joker the final time) Riddler interrogates Ramirez, the snipers present during Harvey's call to Gordon. Riddler finds Gordon's son etc.

May the great man that voiced the most iconic, most favorable, and in my opinion, the best Batman there ever was rest in peace. Goodbye Kevin Conroy. We will never forget you.

Nonsense. As great as Conroy and Hamill were, the show didn't need to be carried. Most everyone involved brought a lot of talent and creativity to it.

Jeff Dunham would make a great Joker, among other Batman characters from his incredible voice range. I say this because Mark Hamill is an American treasure, not just for saving a galaxy far far away, but also just sticking to being the PERFECT Joker after all these years, and now that we no longer have Kevin Conroy for Bruce and the Bat, despite people still voicing and playing the dark knight doing a good job, anyone else who voices the Joker just sounds like they're trying too hard to be poor imitations, and should our Luke Skywalker American sweet heart pass away too soon, I personally think Jeff's impression of Walter and Peanut would make a perfect fit, not only to get out of a rut, but also give Hamill's legacy proper respect.

I like the Episode Lock Up and I´m with the question. I tihnk also about the comic where Batman meets the Punisher, who also faces Batman with the problem. The Punisher was close to kill the Joker but Batman stop him. The Punisher then ask Batman the question "How many times you put that maniac in? I can end it here, right now." I´m honest, I´m more with the Punisher and Lyle Bolton here. How often Batman catches villains like Joker, Two Face, Scarecrow and the others, only to catch them again, after they escape. And every time they escape, someone get hurt or eve killed. How many blood is on Batmans hands, because he dont end the villains like the Punisher do? Sure it was wrong for Lyle Bolton to go against the media or police, but in my eyes, it was not wrong how he handle the villains. They are in Arkham for a reason and I think a Joker or a Scarecrow are done, they cant be saved anymore. They are dangerous and needed to be locked away forever or, getting the chair. I think its a theme that could even be a good comic or movie. Batman faces Lyle Bolton or a other character, who is like the Punisher. Someone who faces Batman with the question, who has more blood on his hands? The one who kills the villains, or the one who only lock them away until they escape again?

Never really watched Batman TAS during it's original run but caught many, if not all the episodes on Toonami..a great action cartoon, probably the best Western action cartoon on the whole block..not counting the animes of course, which were the greatest.
