Do you run REGULAR OR PREMIUM GAS????
Glad for this video I just installed my Vance yesterday backwards 🌴
why are you live-welling fish for shits?
Nice information vid man. I’m getting ready to buy a similar jackplate and install on my 17’ aluminum Bass Tracker so that I am able to adjust the height on my 60/40 Mercury jet drive. Nice to see it done before I start my project.
You need to invest some money in Scales that's from the United States we don't live in China
Gas is very important. Ethenol free 89 or 90 is Ideal. Shell premium is excellent as its carbon fighters cleans real good. Poor Seafoam or starbrite (one can per 20 gallons gas) into a near empty tank and run it at least til you burn 20 gallons to add another can. I would at least run engine on a lake till 1/4 tank or near empty at least once every 4 month (can go longer with starbrite gas stabilizer. Off subject... I would buy a grease gun and some triple guard grease and attach to the 3 fittings for your steering and trim. pump slowly till you see grease oozing out (see youtube videos). Good day folks.
Nah, thats why I have an electric winch 16' high in my shop. Easy peasy
Bonjour de France 🇨🇵👋 tu préfères ton minn kota ultrex ou maintenant t'on lowrance Ghost ??? Merci
What seiz of bolt r the one u put in the jackplate and motor
Very helpful. Great information.
I have a 17ft glasssteam with same motor and can hit 70. Could be due to my prop
A direct injection motor is supposed to start on the first spin every time my Yamaha 115 2 stroke starts on the first spin every time hot or cold outside
Ive had a look at a BRP e tec 250, the large nut under the rubber cover for turning the crank is solid, Im new to these, is there a locking pin / lever? or is the engine seized? its very very clean! thanks
Idk if this is still useful to you but you should be able to turn the engine over using that nut. It will be difficult due to compression of the engine but it should turn over. If you cant get a socket on the nut you could probably strong arm the flywheel by hand.
@@twiggy6899 Thanks for that, the motor was seized I sold it on.
Shock? Really haha...HOW is is that
This just seems hokey... why do you need a giant Fuze holder for each item with 10-12ga wire when the unit has 14-16ga wire. You can't pull more amperage than the factory harness will allow for and just running huge connectors/individual Fuze holders is cluttered and unnecessary. There's a reason audio installers don't have a bunch of posilock connectors instead of mounted fuse blocks and trust me they are looking for clean power or their units clip and fry... also im not sure what size fuze they include for your units and running a higher amperage fuze on any unit leaves the unit unprotected from over amperage as well as then becomes a fire hazard...
Is there a website for the Tuesday night tournaments. Or any info for tournament dates. Thanks!
Thanks for the informative detailed video. What gauge is the Sea Clear Wire Harness bozzman?
Captain Morgan and apple cider is also recommended Always heat up apple cider then add liquor 🍻🥳
You use 304 or 316 SS bolts on transom?
There has to be a easier way. Did they invent a new thing yet? Like a safety pin easy unhook ring?
Egypt bend has a lot of monsters
Great tutorial. Thanks!
I put mine on by myself, it sucked some parts of the day because I would get it leveled out and when I put the clamps on , one side would slide down as I’m marking it. Next time I’m gonna make a template
I can’t imagine doing that job by yourself! An extra set of hands always helps
Headed to the Chickahominy next week to fish with my Brother....what are the go to artificial baits to have? Thanks guys and love your videos
Sorry I just saw this man! We use a frog, senkos and shakeyheads on the chick a lot!
Very Helpfull ,Thank You
Can you give me a link to that jack plate at that price?
$399 for $99 worth of wire! Funny how I can't find anywhere on their site that says gauge but looks like 10!
More than $99 there bubbles..price it before you sing like a bird
@@Letzgobrandun-wi1pc i have dumbass maybe take your own advice
very nice job explaining ty
I honestly recommend replacing the wood when doing this
Is yours set up to a 36volt system? I was wondering if just the two wires (one red and one black) in your old receptacle wired together with the other two (one red one black) from the trolling motor will work on 36 volts, if so then that’s how I’m gonna do it.
In this video my setup was actually 24 volts. On my née boat it’s 36
Nice 👍
Wood deck , ewwww 🤮
I am about to buy a 2000 22' Sratos with a 2007 150hp Evinrude. Do you run just regular gas in it or do you run the higher octane gas? Thanks
I always ran standard gas in it. Evinrude/Johnson also makes a fuel treatment which wouldn’t hurt use as well
Catch any lake trout!??
FWIW, @9:35 mark, 3m 5200 or 4200 is far superior to the silicone they provide (or any silicone for that matter)
What size fuses are used at the battery terminals? Thanks
I can’t recall off the top of my head but I believe they were the fuses lowrance provided for the graphs. The size varies based on what graph you have and should be listed in the manual of the graph you have.
Thanks for the install walk through! Yah - taking off the old Motorguide was the worst part.
I like your video but think the hooks on those baits are stupid sharp and sticky. Plus they are perfectly weighted already. I fished mostly Gamis too but feel those megabass hooks are crazy sticky! Thanks
Yeah those mega bass hooks are crazy sticky. It’s more of a confidence thing for me. Last season the g finesse treated me really well so I’m just going to stick with them
I need one of those boat Ho,s Lol great video enjoyed it.
Can you tell us the areas of the lake where you caught the most largemouth and smallmouth? It's a big lake and I'm kayaking so I'd like to narrow down my search! Thanks!
just bought evinrude G2 HO 115 hp, Crest Pontoon, put a gallon of XD 100 oil after oil light came on, where is the oil guage on the motor ,??
I’ve been taking my kayak out here 1-2 times a week for the past few months, caught the same exact small guys you caught but have gotten fish every time I’ve been out. Super great spot to enjoy a beautiful day!
What's up with all the new fishing KZreadrs saying let's go? It's kind of aggravating not going to lie
evinrude is alot easier to work on than mercury
I’m not sure if these are as sensitive as the Ficht motors but if you put a prop on it, make sure you take a look at your WOT spec and prop it to meet that RPM. Again, I don’t know if the E-Tec engines are as sensitive, but the Ficht motors HATE being lugged. Also maybe do a treatment with Yamaha Ringfree every once in a while.
Do you still own a Ficht? I have a 2002 150hp with about 200hrs. I know the previous owner. It sat for quite a while but has always been good. Cranks right up, runs great. Knock on wood. I think it loves me being the new owner as I use it very often. I will keep it until I have no choice but to re-power.
Do you run the active on a separate battery or the same battery you use for your graphs?
Same battery I use for my graphs
Hi. What is the pitch on the prop?
Unfortunately I got a newer boat and can’t remember!
Nice video!!
In my opinion, the original hooks were better than the ones you swapped them out for, but hey, the demo was good!
Man I swear by the g-finesse hooks. I won a lot of money on them this year and will continue to use them unless I run into issues!
I have a 200 E-TEC and it’s a 05 and has never been in the shop for repairs and it did go in for 3 yrs or300 hrs and they changed my large water separator fuel filter this is a add on and the little filter on the motor and he checked for codes or any upgrades. But it always starts real easy and I have a jet foot on mine no gear case. But you do need to grease the bearing in jet foot every time you use it but you have to use low pressure grease gun and pump it until water and clean grease and that’s it besides grease to the steering ram .
