Great vid my friend. Question for ya before I order the same staples. What type of gun are you using on your composite ramps? I tried 1 inch staples with my buddies air stapler and they didn't go in half way on my composite deck boards I'm using? Thanks for any advice?

Hey man, sorry for the late response. I used the spot nails brand. Stock number: 4806PS-2.5M 1/4” narrow crown 18 gauge. The leg length is 3/4”

@@JenkinsBassFishing No worries. Thanks for responding. Those are what I've got. I was afraid they wouldn't go all the way into my composite boards I'm using for my bunks. I doubled up two 3/4 inch deck boards. I did a test with some galvanized 16 gauge and they bent but the ones you listed above went all the way in with a decent compressor.

Hey Jenkins, u have had that carpet on for almost a year now, how is it holding up? I saw that ce Smith carpet online as well. I'm due for a new carpet this year, thanks for the video.

Hey man! Like I said in the video, it’s thinner than I was expecting. That being said, it’s held up great and I’ve had no issues with it. It does the job for me just fine👍🏼👍🏼

How do I prevent my air nailer from shooting staples completely through the carpet?

I had to mess around with the air pressure I was giving to my staple gun. The air compressor we used allowed us to fine tune how much air pressure we had, thus allowing us to not shoot the staples right through the carpet.
