I really dig the erratic speed & sound effects at the beginning. Making one of these for Mother’s Day. As for mothers, Coffee is thicker than blood, and the most important vitamin for them. Quick question, what was the blank size you used roughly? The recommended size is 4”x4”8” but honestly it seems absurdly huge, and is a closer fit to their water bottle. Im not really sure why they do that, unless it’s for $, or to give you the ability to try out a design.

@@GuilTheBeardedWoodworker Follow up question, I’ve been trying to find a club/group, or way to meet people to exchange ideas, help problem solve and what not. Having a brittle bone disease, I’m generally quite limited. But woodturning is something I genuinely enjoy, that I may be able to make some pocket money. Not that the goal is money. But being independent, and doing whatever I can to be productive is important to me. I’m not looking for a teacher per se. But I was wondering if you were aware of any solid communities, or even individuals that don’t mind sharing what they’ve learned to someone whose still trying to learn the difference between an Ass & Jack. The shop near me, has had great folks. And even with no one’s main focus being on turning, they’re been invaluable. Sorry for getting pretty personal.
