I have been watching the Star Wars franchise with my eldest "Mae" plus doing some studies on ancient greek artefacts with her as a part of her school stuff was the inspiration behind this piece. plus dare to be different. stay awesome everyone.

    I made a tray out of old bits of fence back in 2012. My mother took it for the garden to put pot plants on. It's still going well.

    Guil that is brilliant dude. I originally assumed you called it the Death Star 2 for obvious reasons. Yet, the time you spent in empty space during that turn made me think again. I would love to see you make a nice base for it and suspend it on some copper rod. That would definitely draw the eye to that beautiful work of art...

    I like the death star look. Like you said, everyone does resin. That's unique. I liked the rough edge before putting the finish on it. It gave it a cool unfinished look. I'm sure that the feed n wax protects it more. Nice job.

    It looks like the second death star before you begin turning😃...one bit went flying off and I did not see any rebel forces I always knew the mpire created c88p gear...the base looks great lovely colours...it also looks a little like an ancient Greek shield too...cool result.

    @@GuilTheBeardedWoodworker I've been really, really slack with getting things done in the workshop as of late. It is setup and good to go. I need to do a review video on it for Gregory Machinery. Won't be doing much around the farm today, as it's wet and very foggy, so I should get out do something.

    Good to see the beard back and in full bloom Guil. Multiple shirt changes, bear claw feet and a unique and beautiful turning.👍.     I stopped the video, I haven’t even seen you turn yet, to say this, Sir, I really like mountains of pieces that I’ve seen you make, this will be another one for knowing what you usually produces, ... then all yours attitude towards life with intelligent humor, ... but don't put the fingers of your hand so, so close to the blade of your band saw, ... are you crazy? 2 mm from the blade, ... take care I've seen a lot of ugly things with a lot less danger, ... stay good and be careful, now I'll watch the video until the end now, ...

    @@GuilTheBeardedWoodworker It was a good moment of fear in my head,...i think my heart stopped for a few seconds,...be carefull, alllways, i know, we never know,...i did't lost one or more fingers beacouse i was just lucky, that was no long time ago,...but i have a new and diferent tatto, no ink, just cuts all over na left inside hand and fingers,...i stop,...no fingers no guitar man,...no rock
