I'm sorry you've gone through the stuff you've been through, but the fact that you came back is a step in the right direction. I know because I've been there and done that: cancer 3 times and everything that goes with it. The thing I've learned is that you keep going. You're alive, the stuff didn't kill you, so there must be purpose in it. Ad Dory said, "Keep swimming, keep on swimming." Glad you're back buddy!

I was just thinking about you yesterday, wondering where you were. I'm quirky, you are quirky, we need quirky sometimes. So glad you are back!

Love the contrast of the verdigris green with the sand and stone swirls of the burl. I understand intimately the difficulty of getting back to creating when things have gone a bit wrong; but, once restarted, it can help immensely. I hope you find that to be true as much as I did after finally bouncing back from Covid and the isolation depression that both preceded and followed it (still dealing with the physical fallout, though- bleh). I'm very glad you found some help when life happened, and wish you better days and brighter skies from now on.

i compleatly agree with you, as a person diagnosed with Autism. the worst thing you can do is to do nothing. ask for help, be with the people you like, do more of the things that makes you happy. but never try and do EVERTTHING alone, that what makes it worse. take it from someone who did that, and its not nice.

Hi Guil, glad to see you back making vids. It may surprise you to know that I've thought about you a lot lately as I've been teaching at a school that had me driving past your house. I'm also aware of the personal issues you speak of and have been through something very similar in the last few years - change of family circumstances, change of career, questioning a lot of things in my life. It's a long journey and good on you for keeping on it.
