The problem is that you will end up having to buy all the gear, on your business, and work just as hard, because they will give you less time to do the job. You know the score. " Anyone can paint!". They don't like the unskilled earning the same as the skilled trades. 😅

I've used one on a same colour clean up on a rental. I found it useful to tilt the tool slightly towards the sponge cap, adding a bit of pressure..... Unload, bring it to the ceiling, then tilt on the last stroke when pulling back towards you. Your right , it doesn't go straight to the ceiling, but I was only doing the walls, and in the same colour. The roller arm is Ok with a regular sleeve on though.

Looks 100% roller with something like Owatrol Oil added to it and laid off badly or maybe not ab all. I done a kitchen unit door in Tikkurila | Miranol gloss warmed up and using a small amount of Owatrol Oil and a cap of white spirits, it was like car paint once dry, like it was brand new, not a roller or brush mark, took 24 to dry tho!. That door has huge amounts of roller stipple, I wouldn't say its a nice gloss like that TBH, but the doors come pre coated with wood grain, would have to fill those and re sand before painting.
