It’s impossible to not get any snagging , Even a walk through after the cleaners still needs to be filtered in Not the blokes fault , if he needed pulling it shouldn’t take 17 plots to work it out

Im an experienced sprayer and Ive never backrolled anything, always got a flawless finish. Theres two sides to every story, and I know what the standards are like on these quick turnaround new builds, so in fairness your pal may well be shite, though you should never let someone complete more than a weeks graft and then knock them the full amount, that's ridiculous

Obviously, not. Nobody would paint 17 plots for £1000 come on. Last week’s wage as I said. 🕯

    Snag your own work 😁

If the work that you have done needs snagging afterwards....they you either need to buck up your ideas...or find a new profession because you are crap. However....if it needs snagging because another trade has damaged your work,,,,then they should be billed for the snagging costs. Plus if another trade ...has caused you to have to sand rough plaster down or caulk massive joinery joints, or fill huge plumbing holes then you should either be paid to rectify or the trade concernd made to pay you or called back to rectify. What are the site agents being paid for???? If you deem to call yourself a pro....then no job you do should need snagging by another. End of.

All jobs have a few snags, it's a question of the degree that's acceptable. I work on high end restoration of Georgian houses for clients who have very deep pockets so we get to be real perfectionists, but there are still always a few minor snags.. the problem with these new builds is that they try to skimp on paying decorators so they have to rush it to make it pay, so the snagging is endless.
