You are right about flats. I had to extend my lease from 84 years to 174 which cost me 10 grand. Sold that place eventually and bought a house.

Do you spray the undercoat & gloss or is it too much of a ballache to clean out the sprayer and better to do it by hand?

I just do the gloss work and undercoat by Brush cost too much to clean the machine out if you spray 🕯️🐝👊🏻

Quick question for you mark , do you still use bristle brushes in oil paints or synthetics ? A bit of topic I know

Depends on a few things mate ,new builds and empty property's with no carpets or furniture are easier and less work, the number of coats of paint,type of paint and condition of property lots of factors every job is different

Mark the prices are still crap for what your doing how much is the firm making. Mate of mine offering 160 a day its doing roo.s in old people's homes ceiling walls acky then gloss back home for dinner easy 160 a day. Some firms do pay fook all and you have break your balls for the pleasure. All the best mark take care and keep that roller rolling.😊

ps got £550 for a 2 bed flat in 2008

Im doing 250 a day working for myself, plenty of work out there and no one breathing down your neck. Best decision ive ever made. Its been hard but now im established the work is flying in 👍
