Honestly I personally liked B4B far more than L4D. I've always felt like L4D had nothing going on and B4B at least had something that made it feel like I wasn't just playing the same exact thing over and over. Though I don't really like either of them that much to be fair. That being said if you could mod B4B that would really fix a lot of it's issues, or if they had patched some of the things like the director over correcting.

Starbound was good but the updates were very oddly chosen. The new story? Why? It felt generic and out of place. Mechs? Not fun to use all the time. Why not add more variations to the procedural generation system? Make the quests more interesting? I really loved the game but there was so much to add to the game yet what they kept choosing only removed from it.

Despite all the negatives, I love this game with all my soul. This game changed my life. I still playing it (+2500 hours in Steam and many years in pirate beta). It's so sad that things turned out this way. Starbound has(d) so much potential...😭

starbound failed for me because my friend played ahead of the rest of us when we were planning on trying it together and then spent the rest of the time hovering around us while we were trying to catch up instead of experiencing it together. Doesn't help that it wasn't very fun on top of that.

I bought the €100+ on sale for about €10. I played it for 30 minutes and uninstalled it. It was so boring and just not fun or interesting to play. It was also overloaded with unnecessary stuff.

I never thought about it before. I play starbound for years now, sometimes I reinstall the game to play a few hours. But the thing that always bugged me was the races. It changes virtually nothing, except for the ship and looks of the char. I did not knew the game studio behind it had so many dirt, tbh, but I could feel the abandonment of the game. I thought that it was lack of resource or the studio behind it simple gave up the project. I don't mind the procedurally generate stuff, I play no man sky too, I know how to build my fun in this type of games. But the lack of updates make the game feel even more repetitive.

Finally....started enhanced edition. Went to a small room to loot everything....panicked via loads zombies coming up stairs/blocking only way out. Felt genuine panic! Til I realised Id crafted some molotovs. Little things like that make all the differance.

Back 4 Blood, from the makers of Evolve. But with the Source 2 engine, how amazing it was for Alyx and how great it performs with CS2, I would love to see L4D2 (or 3) in the Source 2 engine. Because there was a lot in B4B that I hated and stopped caring about and that’s why I always go back to L4D 2. The weird difficulty spikes, weird extreme difficulties as well, and limited continues made it less fun because a lot of the time my group always died from the “director” spamming every enemy possible, and sometimes we need more continues in order for the director to realize it’s too difficult

I remember playing the game and I was super young too, I didn't know anything at all, I think I only visited like 3 worlds and got bored because I thought there was only 1 boss in the entire game, the penguin or something. After I beat that, I really couldn't find anything else to do and I just quit. I didn't even know anything else was in the game. Sad, this game could've been something if it wasn't so damn bad.

I think the biggest issue was them removing the campaign versus mode. It was literally the most popular thing in left 4 dead 2. They replaced it with a weird arena versus that just wasn’t fun.
