With the release of their self-titled debut, The Ocean Blue quickly achieved widespread acclaim and radio & MTV airplay with top 10 Modern Rock/College Radio hits like "Between Something and Nothing", "Drifting, Falling", and "Vanity Fair". Followed by Cerulean, Beneath the Rhythm and Sound , and See The Ocean Blue, the band's fanbase grew with each release.
The band continued to several records, including 2000's Davy Jones Locker and 2004's Waterworks. In 2013, the band released their first full length record in a decade, Ultramarine, on Korda Records. In 2015, the band worked with Sire Records to reissue their first three albums on vinyl, and toured North America and South America, where some of their most passionate fans reside.
In 2019, the band returned with the beautifully powerful Kings and Queens / Knaves and Thieves, and has continued to tour for this release and the newly re-issued vinyl of See The Ocean Blue (2022) and Davy Jones Locker (2023).

Still really like this band. Beautiful song ❤️
In spring of 1996, my girlfriend and I danced in her backyard to this song in the moonlight. Not a care in the world and so in love. I wonder where she is...
I am crying.. I’ve felt so isolated and alone for so many years..such a chance finding this beautiful band.. nothing more to say but I hope they’re still producing the music and lyrics that truly shine such a light on being human after all x
Such an underrated band
Great song but the sound is so choppy 😢
The best song Echo & the Bunnymen never made!
1986 - another good year for great music⭐
I've grown into them. When they came out wasn't into it. Now that I'm 63, I love it. I'm a fan now.

Love this song I consider It as classic no doubt
This is the nostalgic sound that I miss. I heard this on Kroq, Los Angeles. I get an English Beat vibe from this band.
Can this be reposted? I come back to this song at least once a week and would love to hear it without the digital noise. Thanks!

One of the best songs ever!🖤♥️
One of my favorite songs of all time.
For you, CH/CT...I hope to see you again in a beautiful place that looks and feels like the way this band (particularly this album) sounds, where problems never persist and won't go away.
I loved this cd in high school, played it all the time.
I come to this song ever so often. Especially now to help me drift and fall . 🍉✌🏽
at 2:16 all harmonic hell breaks loose..
Saw this band at the Vegas venue called Calamity janes back in the late 89's. During the break sat and drank with the lead singer, very cool guy . Totally expected them to be a huge band. Best wishes for the journey they took.
underrated band !
this is my first time hearing this right now. i'm blown away. i can hear deerhunter being influenced by this band. so many things influenced by this song.
Ocean Blue, equipo extraordinario!!
I heard this at Whole Foods today. I couldn't believe they played The Ocean Blue at Whole Foods.
ANOTHER TIMELESS CLASSIC! 80'S MUSIC RULES!! the dj
Heard this on Sirius First Wave the other day and was blown away - and amazed I never heard of them - I'm am an 80's music freak :) it sounds to me more early 80's new wave and was again surprised this was released in the late 80's - awesome tune with great melodies - it almost sounds like a mix between the psychedelic furs and Ultravox - downloaded the whole album today - it's really good! But this track is really a stand out.
One of my very favorite songs! Epic!

Todos los viernes y sabados .. en el terrazas kong bar ... En el centro de Lima ... Es uno de sus himnos 😁😁🙌🙌
my sister had the debut cassette in the 80's .. I want this on vinyl in 2024
I love you.
my cool older sister had the ocean blue cassette tape and I would hide it from her and listen to it in my headphones on my bmx bike, I remember it was summer and I was starting to yearn for something more, something romantic, something I could sense but was too young to understand. It was the essence of cool and the feelings of melancholy as the summer was winding down, chasing all the fun, searching for that one true love
So glad you are playing in Harrisburg, only a couple of miles from my house.
