The story when this was "found" was that Tyler wrote this around 2007 and someone close to him found it and shared it just before Jumpsuit and Nico and the Niners was released, but my personal theory (and I'm not the only one who thinks this) is that Tyler wrote and recorded this around the time it came out. The lyrics are just too relevant to the lore and I think it just sounds a little _too_ good. I think he was trying to imitate the sound of his earlier works.

This one hurts a lot.. My mom was an addict, and I always thought I'd never fall into that loop... But I did.. DIfferent drug of choice but similar woes... Fucked me up for a very, very long time.. I thought mabye she was weak, or had just given up... And then I woke up halfway through a 72 hour psyche hold at my local hospital. She wasn't wrong. She was hurt.. I understand why she tried to put that band-aid over her pain, now. This song really encases that... I'm sorry, mom.

I’m 22 in 18 days. My boyfriend and I broke up Dec 31st. It was my first relationship and lasted over 4 years, though the last 8 months were extremely rocky, and I felt like I was begging him to give me attention. We were both at fault - I had become a shell of myself due to alcoholism, which I fell into because of trauma, and his drinking got bad too, though not as bad as mine. We broke up. It’s been 2 1/2 months, and I don’t want to live without him. I’m exhausted. I don’t have the money just yet, but I’m working on a job, and once I do, I’m buying a rope. I don’t want to be alive without him. I’m done
